“Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

“Michaelson Homes recently completed a 3 floor addition to our home. This addition also featured a additional garage and was integrated into a new patio and pool area. We also used M.H. for an entire new kitchen including moving two walls and enlarging exterior windows. The complexity of the project ranged from matching up roof lines to managing a changing traffic flow both inside and outside of the home, Michaelson Homes did a masterful job. We interviewed several contractors and even more cabinet makers for the project and decided to consolidate all of our project needs with Marc Michaelson, we made a good decision. Marc ended up managing, or at least acting as our liaison with the pool company and the company doing the deck work...from a timing and integration perspective he did a great job. Our project ended up coming in on budget, on time, and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, the work crew that was literally "living" with my family for 3 months could not have been more professional, more polite, and took pride in cleaning up their worksite, our home, every night. We have now used Michaelson Homes for 4 separate projects in 3 different homes over a 10 year period and we could not be more pleased. “Highlands Home Services leader Shelby Baird did an excellent job on our bathroom project. The cost was on par with other quotes we received. Quality of work is outstanding. Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. “In April of 2016, we began the search to find the best contractor in the Cincinnati area to build a new addition and remodel our house. It was a difficult process, and after interviewing several contractors I was about to give up until a contractor that had worked on my kitchen recommended Legacy Custom Builders LLC. Things can arise at any time that are unexpected and to the home owner may seem overwhelming and insurmountable. However, Rob is always cool and has a plan of action. He is patient and takes the time to explain all of the options and is only concerned that the client is happy in the end. I can't thank him and his team enough for everything they did over the 6 month period to make things right and ensure everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about Legacy Custom Builders LLC. There are very few businesses...let alone contractors that are so honest and upfront with clients. “We have a high porch with pillars as you would see in the old southern homes yet there was never any railing around it which was very much needed for safety reasons. We hired Mr. Bales' company to put the railing up. It is perfect and looks so nice. We also had a water problem in our lower level laundry area. When the home was built, the walls were not properly finished so as to prevent ground water from seeping in anytime there was a heavy rainfall. The construction crew tore out part of the wall, waterproofed the entire area and put up new wall. At the same time, our hot water unit was in that room and they moved it to the corner of our garage and rebuilt wall and ceiling that was clumsily done in the building of the house. We also had them to put in new banister from upper to lower level. This company performed these jobs with extreme professionalism. The completed projects are proof of each worker's knowledge and experience in different areas of construction. I am sure that the men who work for Mr. Bales would attest to the great leadership and experience they have received from him on the job. They came in, got the jobs done, painted and cleaned up. We are totally satisfied with all that we had done and always call Bales when we have any project we are interested in doing.”

“If you are looking for an honest, reliable contractor Aaron is your guy! Artisan Contractor replaced siding on our house with Hardie board & baton trim. Aaron & crew did excellent work! Aaron was very communicative during the entire process. If Aaron ran into an unforeseen issue he let me know and we discussed how to proceed. I also appreciated that they cleaned up at the end of each day and did a through clean when the job was completed. They did not cut any corners. 5 stars out of 5 stars for Artisan Contractor!”
