“Construction & remodeling is a big business. There are many small & large companies competing in the field. What stand out about SB was 1- their estimates were very close to the actual cost, 2- they did the job on time & 3- they made no excuses like lots of others I have seen because they didn’t need to. “Work was completed in my kitchen - removal of one wall and existing floor (3 different types); reconstuction of pantry; installation of new 3 drawer cabinet, new floor, countertop, back splash, and new lighting. MW Construction management and staff were very professional and courteous. The staff came as scheduled and management kept me appraised of progress throughout the project. Management personally helped with my selection of flooring, countertop, and back splash; and I received contractor pricing even though I personally paid for the items separately (no overhead added for MW Contruction). Items in and around contruction zone were protected throughout the project and construction area was cleaned up at the end of each work day. The end result is beautiful and of high quality. I would recommend MW Construction Services, LLC., to anyone and everyone.”

“HomeMadons, Inc. completed a small job for me. He replaced my laundry room door which was semi-basic. They retrofitted a door that required mortising of hinges and used new hardware. The new door with frosted glass and stencil picture pops the area and really makes it stand out! He and his crew were extremely professional, on-time, and worked within my tight schedule! I would highly recommend them for any work and will be using them in the future!”

“After receiving several estimates to turn our attic into a master bedroom suite with a bathroom, we went with Thomas Custom Builders (TCB). They did not provide the cheapest estimate we received, but they were extremely professional, provided the most thorough information, seemed focused on doing things right, and we were really comfortable working with them and communicating with them. We are extremely happy we went with TCB. The renovation process hasn't been perfect - which is really not possible - but TCB has been excellent at finding solutions to the unforeseen things we could not anticipate. More importantly, they do things the right way and are honest about what is going on and what needs to be done. This was our first renovation, so we asked a ton of questions, but the entire TCB team always took the time to talk us through stuff and answer any questions we had. Lastly, the quality of their work is superb. We've had some neighbors over throughout the process who have gone through several renovations and they commented that they could tell TCB were true craftsmen based on the quality of their work. I would highly recommend their services and will hire them for any renovation work we do in the future.”

“We live in a 135 year old historic home on capitol hill hill in Washington D.C. We had been searching for a contractor to diagnose and repair some major structural problems when we got referred to Kingston. From our first meeting and throughout the following fifteen months they handled every aspect of the job with honesty, integrity and skill. All my emails and phone calls were answered promptly, and every unforeseen event, no matter big or small, was dealt with care and consideration. Recently I recommended Kingston to a friend. She had gotten many estimates for her job, and then received one from Kingston as well. The advice I gave her sums it up best. “We hired Oak Hill Building & Remodeling for our kitchen remodel. Nick worked with my husband and I to design a kitchen that included removing a wall to double the size, and created plans with 3-D views that allowed us to visualize our new kitchen. Nick communicated effectively regarding timelines, the process, and when he needed decisions on materials. Once work began, Nick visited or communicated with us daily to monitor progress. Nick was always available to answer any questions we had and checked frequently with us to ensure we were satisfied with the quality of the work. The crew assigned to our job were respectful, friendly, always began the day asking if we had any questions, and ended the day with tidying up the job site. Work was completed on time and we love our new kitchen. We selected Oak Hill Building and Remodeling out of 4 companies due to their professionalism during the estimate process, and we found that this professionalism continued throughout the entire process. We would definitely recommend the company to others, as well as use again on future projects.”
