“I am Monet's Attics BIGGEST FAN! I came across Monet's Attic when I was very pregnant with my daughter a couple months ago. I had been searching all over NY for the perfect dresser for my little girls nursery, which I was doing in a shabby chic theme. Nothing struck me and I was starting to think I might have to settle because time was running out. I discovered Monet's Attic one day while browsing on Etsy..and noticed the many beautiful furniture pieces. I wrote to the owner, Ellen and told her of my vision. I was delighted to receive a reply immediately from her with thoughts, ideas and a "yes, I can do that!". She assured me she would be able to bring my vision to life and so the process began. Ellen found the perfect piece and emailed me all the time to tell me where she was at with working on it. Keep in mind, I had never seen the piece in person, the entire transaction was being done by email! I trusted her 1000%. She was so kind and BEYOND patient with me, as I was very nervous (and very hormonal!). The day it was delivered to my house, I cried. It was exactly what I envisioned for my little girls room. And talk about customer service and personal touches, I opened the drawers to find a very special surprise..draw liners that matched my daughters bedding!!! She didn't have to do that. She is so passionate and kind. Ellen has the patience of a saint and incredible talent. She was an absolute angel. Every time I walk into my little girls room and see her beautiful one of a kind dresser, I smile. I can't wait one day to tell my daughter all about how we arrived at this piece and about the special woman who made it with such care and attention to every detail. If only every buying experience could be this pleasant and perfect...I will be a customer for life. I can't recommend Monet's Attic highly enough!!! Thank you, Ellen, for everything!”
