“Joe Hannah is the best. My complex project in the basement included a bar, sauna, bedroom, and large entertainment area. All work was finished in a timely fashion and to complete satisfaction. He and his crew even helped move the mail ordered futon down to the basement. He worked had to find good value on cabinets without sacrificing on design and quality. He even suggested installing a cat door so the cats could get to their boxes without having to go through the finished part o the basement. Everyone who sees my basement is extremely impressed with the beauty and design. Joe is an honest contractor and is true to his word. I would use him again, and recommend him unconditionally.”

“I wanted a load-bearing wall removed. This involved coordination with an engineer, having permits pulled, and engagement with subcontractors. Dave coordinated this all. His work is impeccable. He holds his subs’ feet to the fire. He clearly knows what he’s doing. His pricing was fair. The job took longer than expected but it was worth it in the end to get the superior quality. His depth of knowledge was immediately obvious and his drawings were amazing. He had several ideas and options. The quality of the work from beginning to end was impeccable. “We had been working on remodel/addition for years. When Covid hit, we solicited several contractors and none of them gave us hope of getting the job done or meeting our budget goals. These guys came in and not only told us it was possible, but our budget was high for what needed to be done. Who does that these days? They communicated with us that it would take time because of the state of the world, but everyone we dealt with was great and we slow and steady got through it. They even helped on several design ideas/choices. It was a long road, but was happy to go down it with them. Would recommend.”

“Pura Vida provided first-rate work with a multi-day project of converting some scary-looking basement rooms into usable, finished spaces. Work consisted primarily of drywall, mudding, and painting. Work quality was outstanding, and we were thrilled with the final result. The final spaces actually turned out much better than we could have expected, as the team listened to what we wanted to achieve and offered suggestion on how to get there. One thing that we particularly appreciated about Pura Vida was that even though this was a relatively straightforward project, the contractor insisted on viewing the project in person before having his team begin the work -- and closely supervised the project throughout the work, making several visits to the project to examine work. Second, Pura Vida's attitude was that no detail is too small, and they aimed for perfection with ensuring that every item and every request was addressed. And third, the Pura Vida team was a pleasure to work with -- easy to communicate with, friendly, and trustworthy when it came to providing suggestions about the project and about how to achieve the best result.
