Due to a serious leakage in their kitchen under the sink, a lot of moisture seeped into the wood cabinet and ended up going all the way through the wood flooring. Then I thought about one of my friends who had her bathroom renovated last year and since she was happy with the results I thought I would give a call to the people who did her renovation. I called and Ana came over to chat and assess the situation. We found out that my parents had a serious case of mold problem which prompted a full kitchen renovation all the way to the studs. “Barrett Crisco of Best Austin Handyman is the best in the business. I have been working on remodeling projects for 20 years, so I am quite familiar with all aspects of the work involved. I have worked on 4 family homes, two downtown condo complete remodels and one duplex remodel. Through the years I have worked with many contractors and I have to say Best Austin Handyman is the best of the best. For me they have done a complete roof, skylights, soundproofing and most recently an expansive spectacular deck overlooking Zilker Park. You name it, they can do it. There have been times I have changed my mind mid stream on a project and this company simply takes it in stride. Their goal is just aiming to please. “I have been working with Melde on several projects over the past year and am incredibly satisfied with their attention to detail and flexibility. Projects with strict or tight budgets require a certain amount of flexibility of cost vs quality. Melde has been very instrumental in helping us and our clients stay within budget by having many subcontractor relationships of different levels of quality. This helps us and the client with our push-pull system (an idea where you may want to save money in a place of lesser importance to put money into something of greater importance). We also like that Melde works with us from the initial schematic design phases of our projects to ensure a level of design integrity and budget maintenance throughout the project. This allows us to minimize budget overages late in the project when it becomes difficult and often costly to scale back.
