“DesignerBuilders has worked at my house on several occasions over the last half-dozen years (date below refers to the beginning of the first and largest occasion), performing such tasks as completely renovating a bedroom and bathroom, chimney-flashing repair, exterior and interior painting, storm-window replacement, and small excavation work and foundation pouring. The owner provides written estimates and bills and makes certain that the work is accomplished in a timely manner (which of course may be dependent upon the pace of suppliers and subcontractors). He and all employees are courteous and trustworthy, and all are extraordinarily knowledgeable about their jobs. The owner is well aware and enthusiastic about environmental impacts.”

“Stonehenge Construction was a delight to work with and provided the most stress-free remodel we have ever dealt with! Not only were they professional, they were on-time, cost effective and dependable. Their subs were also prompt, professional, clean and trust-worthy. Every detail was right on and it couldn't have gone any smoother! We gutted our kitchen, master bathroom and a guest bath. We had a laundry room between our kitchen and family room and that was moved upstairs to open up these two areas. We also utilized space on our back porch to open up the area even more. Hardwood floors were installed in the kitchen and the family room. The hardwood floors in the dining room and foyer were re-finished to match the new floors. The kitchen has custom built, maple cabinets with a antique white finish with a brown wash. With all of the extra space, we have an extra large island with a granite counter top. All of the appliances have cabinet fronts, a relocated pantry, a bar area with a ice maker, double ovens, 5-burner gas cook top and a cookbook shelf at the end of the island. We also have a china cabinet with lighting, under mounted cabinet lights and "invisible" plugs mounted under the cabinets as well. Our new kitchen looks like something out of a magazine and we couldn't be happier! The master walk-in closet was expanded to included the washer and dryer that was previously on the first floor. The guest bath has a new cast iron tub, all new tile, a soapstone counter top and a updated vanity. The master bath was updated by removing the Jacuzzi tub, relocating the 2 vanities and constructing a huge walk-in shower. The water closet has a new Toto toilet and the door was removed to open up the space. The newly tiled floor includes a marble/granite tile "carpet" and floor heating. The huge walk-in shower has a granite seat, 2 shower heads and granite cubbies for storage. The custom built vanity has a granite counter top and a make-up area. If you love your home and you don't want to move, we would highly recommend Stonehenge Construction to update the home that you love! “The work was a bathroom remodel which involved moving a wall, moing electricity, and moving plumbing. We also had a wall of custom cabinetry installed i. The bedroom. The time estimate given by the contractors was pretty accurate. We knew each week what to expect. The workers were all respectful and did good work. I would definitely hire this company again when I am ready to do more remodeling.”

He literally by himself tore out all my flooring cabinets, trim , drywall , two bathrooms nearly gutted my entire house. David literally worked from 8:30am until 10:00 pm if not later each day! Keep in mind this work also included going up and down stairs. His work ethics is compared to a four man job but he did it by himself. His talents, skills are impeccable. So …my advice is, if you are looking for an awesome construction company? Do yourself a favor and look no further than this company. He transformed my home to a modern home, new hard wood flooring through my entire house, he tore out old carpet and flooring, new kitchen cabinets, sink, hood-range, 2- bathroom vanities, dry wall in my entire down stairs. fixed my deck, painted doors/trim . New trim/doors through my entries home. Light fixtures, railing, changed register vents and many odds and ends that I added on while he was here. “We've had 3 significant home addition / remodeling projects, all of which were managed by a contractor. Our most recent, the stone porch project, was far and away the best experience we've had. In a project's hindsight there are always a few things you reflect back on. Quality of work - Everything they did on this project was done with care and attention to detail. We've not found anything in the months since the project was completed that we'd change. Interactions with Contractor, their employees and their subs - I genuinely looked forward to the guys showing up every day.
