“Annette is amazing at what she does. She not only ensures her work is as exact as it can possibly be... she also goes above and beyond by assisting when difficult issues with other contractors and or structural issues as well. I recommend her highly as she is prompt, fair with her pricing and always available should you have a question. She also is someone who likes to come see the job after it's finished so she can see how her plans worked out. Amazing and outstanding designer and person! Will call back again for future projects and have recommended her already to my neighbor! Excellent!”

“Headwaters Enterprises is #1 in my book! They're a rare find in the world of construction being talented, top quality, honest, AND reliable. If you want to see the work they do in person, come check out our bicycle shop! Our retail space was a maze of small offices before Headwaters transformed it. Now we have a beautiful showroom, practical repair shop, and efficient office & storage areas. The attention to detail, clear cut choices of products & materials, and finishing touches are so good, they sometimes become the topic of conversation with our customers instead of the bicycles that we sell. The remodel went so well, we've even had Headwaters build a deck, install sliding glass doors, relocate a few windows, and even add chimney pots to our home. We look forward to more projects in the future!”

“We met with Matthew Pavelchak in the summer of 2017 to discuss plans for rebuilding a house on Beech Mountain. We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Matthew really listened to our needs and came up with a beautiful, creative, livable design. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The house was completed in June 2020 and we could not be happier with the final product. Matthew designed a gorgeous, user friendly, comfortable home that we will be in for many years. “I highly recommend Sensible Build for any renovations to your home. We worked with Jacob and his crew for renovations on our home. We had a complete bathroom remodel and a few extra additions to our home. We've had a couple different contractors that we've worked with over the years but the quality of work from Jacob and his team has definitely been the best we have experienced. Everyone was very personable and courteous. Jacob was easy to get in touch with which can be an issue with many contractors. Cost of work was rarely over estimates, most of which were from unforeseen issues that goes along with owning an older home. We were also informed of any additional costs prior to work being done. We had a great experience with Sensible Build and love the work and service they provided.”

“I used HRock for stone veneer work on a chimney and some work on landscaping steps. They did a wonderful job. The chimney looks fantastic and the work appears to be done well. The price was better then others that quoted. Tony is responsive and helpful. I would have given five stars except that the site clean-up was not what it should have been, with construction debris being left behind. I would say having to clean-up afterwards was a small inconvenience compared to the amount saved by going with HRock.”
