“We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Living in a construction zone for 2 months is never pleasant but the majority of subcontractors used by IND are very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. We would definitely work with David and his team again and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out.”

“We hired EPC to remodel two bathrooms and the entryway to our house in Ventura. Gary and Jesse were upbeat and nice to work with. Their skilled staff were all courteous, reliable, efficient, and non-smokers. They were perfectionists and took pride in their work. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the price we paid. Our only minor complaint is that the staff were spread pretty thin across EPC jobs, with our project taking nearly 4 months to complete (longer than projected).”

“I had my bathroom completely remodeled through ECO design PRO. Ori Sakal and his workers removed my bathtub liner and replaced it with a stand up shower. They also installed tile on the walls and floor as well as a new double sink vanity. All The materials were purchased by me with the guide and advises of Ori Sakal. Ori told me the process would take a 2-3 weeks. It took almost 3 weeks and that's due to some previous work that was done by my plumber in which he did a few things wrong and Ori had to fix them. Ori Sakal did a good job and the new bathroom came out more than I expected and it showed me that there are great contractors that can do a good job at reasonable priced.”

“Berardinelli Custom Builders (the owner is named JR) was the contractor on my recent kitchen remodel, and I literally can not say enough wonderful things about them. I had been looking for the right contractor for a long time, and I experienced first hand all of the negative things people say about contractors (until I met JR). Everyone complains about how awful contractors are: the difficulty most of them have in following through, their failure to return telephone calls, their failure to involve the owner in any unexpected changes to the original plan. All of those problems came to light as I paraded many different contractors through my kitchen and discussed the project with them. Many of them didn't even bother to submit a bid, and those that did submitted bids that were incomplete and misleading so they could "keep things on the low end" in order to secure the job. All of that changed when JR came over to look at the project--he is a man of action and soon had the bid to me (by the promised date). It was more than I wanted to spend, so he spent considerable time going through the bid with me line by line to remove what we could to lower the bid. While his bid initially seemed more expensive, I quickly realized that it was not--his bid was simply honest, accurate, and included all possible expenses, which I really appreciated, I did not want there to be any surprises later after we were already knee-deep in the project--and there never were any. . The biggest complaint I hear over and over again from people who have used contractors is how flaky the contractors are--how they fail to return calls, fail to meet their completion dates, etc. You will never, ever have those complaints about JR. He made every effort to catch my telephone call, but if he was in the middle of something he always called me back very shortly or texted me. I never, ever, not once felt one second of frustration about how he was managing the project, communicating with me, keeping my husband and me informed, etc. The ONLY delays we suffered on this job were due to 2 subs I insisted on using who fouled up the timeline. 100% my fault, 0% JR's fault. In addition, there were SO MANY choices to make, so many decisions to have to make, and JR was always available to discuss those issues fully with me (even on a Sunday), so I could make good choices. But the best thing about JR is that his work is absolutely beautiful. He uses good subs (Pat, the cabinet maker JR works with is incredible!!!), and JR makes sure that every phase of the work is completed to his exacting standards. If not, it is redone. Kitchen remodels are fairly awful because the kitchen is the heart of the house, and suddenly it is completely unusable due to your decision to remodel. JR understands that, and went to great pains to move everything out to the garage so we had some sort of kitchen to use out in our garage (coffee makers, refrigerator and freezer, dining chairs and table, microwave etc). He did everything he could to minimize our suffering! My kitchen is breathtakingly beautiful-literally magazine-style quality. Gorgeous, elegant, and timeless. I will use JR again for any and all future projects I have-he is amazing and a world-class nice man to boot.”
