We thought the Oklahoma City Home Show would be a good place to start so we went and saw about 10 or 12 different shelter vendors on display. Most of what we saw at the Home Show were giant sardine cans for either above or below ground. It met all the FEMA tests for safety and the only question left was can we trust the contractor to do it right and treat us right. We found both of these elements to be a solid plus in Philip Slater and Oklahoma Storm Rooms. We felt confident in Philip's thorough knowledge of his product and his ability to construct our 4 x 8 ft. shelter exactly where we needed it to be. He never let us down on any account. He supervised and took an active part in the construction of our Storm Room and we were more than pleased with him, his work and his product. We received no kind of discount or any other consideration for this recommendation. It is a pleasure to write a recommendation when you're lucky enough to do business with someone like Philip Slater.
