“After using him about 10 years ago for our 3 bathrooms, we decided to totally redesign our kitchen to not only update the room but to create a more usable living space. He spent many hours listening to what we wanted to achieve and translating those ideas into plans. He also created custom cabinets and a huge island for us using materials that he recommended for our lifestyle and tastes. Highly recommend - will be using again!”

“Had such a great experience working with Eric, D and Anna on our living roof project! We added a full wall of bookshelves and a Hearth Cabinet fireplace. All touch points of our project was a pleasure to work with KSB on, from budgeting through completion. They are incredible with attention to detail and won't stop until everything perfect. “We had a complete renovation done of our bedroom wing with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a hallway under Heike's guidance. This was the 2nd project we have done with her, and we are once more thrilled with the result! What we like about Heike is that, she is a nice person to work with, she listens well, does extra research, has a lot of knowledge of materials and where to get them, and last but not least the fact that she comes from Europe and understands our modern European taste well. She introduced a number of nice touches in the overall design and paid attention to the overall energy efficiency of the renovation. She also worked with our contractor and the building department of our town. We can full-heartedly recommend her.”

“I couldn't be happier. Mari's suggestions were top-notch, though my wife and I felt the need to look at lots of other stuff before we returned to her original ideas and saw they were best. The materials were superb, everything was as-advertised, her workers were top professionals, the job has gotten oohs and aahs, even from a cynical friend who is "in the business" in a different county. My wife and I, now 6 months later, still stare admiringly at our new kitchen every day and the many perfect little touches, and can find not one tiny little itsy bitsy complaint or suggestion for improvement. It's gorgeous, it was inexpensive for what we got, it was on time. A rave, right? But she deserves it. It's a matter of taste, but I'd recommend what we got: the quaker maple cabinets, light natural wood (as opposed to painted white) and quartz countertops -- all the way to the ceiling, with concave crown moulding making the connection to the ceiling. Looks like a million bucks. Plus, Mari was delightful. Very upbeat and easy to work with.”

“Kim Hoover designed our house. During the process, she continued to turn challenges into opportunities to improve the project. Working off an existing sub-optimal foundation, she created a plan to maximize a great view, nestle the house into the landscape, and turned what would have been a dreary basement into a sun-filled room. She worked well with clients -- always listening throughout the process -- and with builders and contractors. Kim takes responsibility for her work, is on time and on budget. Her aesthetic sense is classic but imaginative. She's resourceful about new products on the market as well as time-honored techniques to make a house a showplace. In each stage of the process, Kim added value. We cannot wait to work on another project with her.”
