“We engaged Staples Design Group to change the interior of our new home from modern to a more traditional look to compliment the exterior design of the home. We also used them to finish the basement space to compliment the new traditional look on the upper floors. They managed the whole process from design, contractor selection, pricing, paint colors, furniture and accessories and project management. They did an exceptional job, on time, on budget and we were completely satisfied. I would strongly recommend their services to others.”

“I would highly recommend Design for Conscious Living. I wanted to spice up my drab apartment and decided that I needed professional help, so I hired Celia. I was initially impressed by her professionalism and soon learned that she also has a sense of humour, which was useful when she worked with me to accommodate my somewhat eclectic tastes, The results were beyond my expectations. Even simple things she suggested completely changed the feel of an area. Her use of colour and her ability to utilize space transformed my normal dull apartment into a vibrant living space, on which I have since received numerous compliments from friends. “Recently I purchased my first apartment with my boyfriend. Because I had never decorated my own place before I was very confused with colour choices and on what wall each colour should be on. Lori was beyond the most helpful, patient and knowledgeable interior decorate I have ever come across. She explained to me how the sun can come in at certain angles making the colour choices I picked looking very different than the colour samples. Because of her she made our apartment feel like a home rather than a stepping stone till our next place. I couldn’t have done it without her help!”

“We hired Katherine to help us with our new home being built in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She was there from concept to completion and without her input, we wouldn’t have the custom home we desired. The choices are vast and would have been overwhelming had it not been for Katherine’s expertise in pulling all of it together. She took the builder’s plans and completely transformed the kitchen and master bathroom. This took our home from “nice” to “KNOCKOUT”! Katherine is a JOY to work with and made this stressful process into a fun and enjoyable experience. We HIGHLY recommend Katherine for any project you may have!!”

“Over the course of the Spring of 2013, Revi Mula of Monaco Interiors helped us to design and renovate our basement. Revi was very easy to work with, very professional, and was a good listener. I had strong ideas of my own, and Revi was willing to incorporate them into the overall design of our space. At each phase of construction, Revi would create her drawings and then consult with us about them. We had a large, unfinished and open space, to start with. Revi hired only the best, most highly-skilled tradesmen to do everything for us, from the ductwork to the framing, drywalling and painting, electrical work, flooring, and everything in between. Revi cares about her firm's reputation and she will only work with people who are honest, hardworking and trustworthy and who do the job properly, and in a timely manner. The work space was kept clean, which mattered to us. We ended up with a very pleasing design for a practical work/play area that feels spacious and bright, yet uses every inch of space in a functional way. We now have an extra 3-piece bath, a closet below stairs, a walk-in pantry, a work/studio area, a beautiful seating/sleeping area with gas fireplace, book shelves and big-screen tv, and a games area as well as a new furnace room. Revi respected our budget and found us beautiful materials and furnishings that suited our style. Her tradespeople are very conscientious and and clearly have a good working relationship with Revi. She oversaw the work and made home visits at regular intervals for consultations and to check on the work. She maintains the highest standards for workmanship and final product, and any small problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Revi returned my phone calls and emails promptly, so our communication was excellent. I know that if you want good results, you have to work with people who take real pride in their work, and that's exactly what you get with Monaco Interiors. I would not hesitate to give Monaco Interiors the highest recommendation and have already referred them to some friends. We had a wonderful experience with Monaco Interiors and I would be delighted to work with them in future, should we need any more work done.”

“Over the last two years we renovated our home however something was still missing. I met with Catherine and she immediately understood my vision for the home as well as how we needed the space to function for our family of five. She put her touch on every room in the house (many rooms she completely changed out all the furniture, custom sofa, great lighting, built in wall unit etc) other rooms she just added in accessories and an area rug giving the space a modern fresh vibe. Catherine has incredible vision and is so driven and passionate about every project she takes on. I look forward to working with her again soon when she renovates our home office, hall and staircase.”
