“We purchased a house built in the mid 70s that hadn't been touched since the mid 70s. We've spent the last four years fixing up almost every room in the house, and the kitchen was the last room we had left. While we were happy with the other rooms, we weren't excited about the contractors we had used to complete the jobs. Going into the kitchen remodel we were half expecting another average experience, but the final product is exactly what we wanted. We are very pleased with how our kitchen turned out. I love everything about it. The job was completed within the timeframe quoted and on budget. There were a few hiccups here and there, but they were all addressed and resolved timely and efficiently. All of the crew - Roy, Troy and Apollo are very friendly, responsive and responsible. I would recommend them to anybody looking to remodel their kitchen.”

“Tier 1 has managed a number of projects at our home in Austin. These have included rehabbing the master bath, re-insulating the attic, replacing A/C units, configuring outdoor drainage, and much more. In some cases the professionals used to perform duties were Tier 1 employees, and in others, outside contractors of their selection. We have had good results with Tier 1, with jobs generally being completed on time and within budget, with high quality workmanship and materials.”

“I hired Craig Thompson (CSS-Tile) to do the following in my kitchen: Remove and replace existing laminate countertops with granite. Remove and replace existing tile backsplash with new tile backsplash. Install new sink and faucet. Enlarge the bar area. All the work was completely done beyond my expectations. Craig is a master at installing tile. His attention to detail was wonderful. He helped me in the selection of the tile, granite, sink and faucet. He was on-site when the granite was installed and made sure everything was done correctly. He built out the bar area with undermount supports that makes the bar seem to float with no obtrusive corbels. This was something I was unaware could be done and I know took longer to install than traditional supports. I'm grateful that he came up with that option. The project was completed on time and I'm extememly happy with the results.”

“We used Gill Construction for a kitchen and master bath remodel, after they fixed a hole in our livingroom ceiling from a HVAC person falling through while working on our heating unit. They did a great job fixing the hole and matching trim and paint colors. We were very impressed with the quality of work. When we were ready to do our kitchen and master bath updating and remodel, we called them for a bid. They looked at our project, listened to our concerns, gave us options when appropriate, and helped us stay on target within our budget. Their bid was in line with the average cost of this type of project. Their attention to detail enabled them to put out the best quality of work. We had our kitchen cabinets painted, installed a backsplash and new quartz countertops in the kitchen. The bath/dressing area had new wood look tile installed for the flooring, a new walkin shower, cabinet, toilet installed, new quartz countertops and backsplash for the double sink cabinet. Steven does a great job of keeping you informed so that you are always aware of their schedule etc. Great communication! We were impressed that each day they left the worksite clean and did all they could to keep the dust down during the construction. We will use them again whenever we have other projects. We love our kitchen and master bath, dressing area. I wish I could have put up more pictures, however believe what is posted helps you see the before and end results.”

“We HIGHLY recommend Tailor & the team at Vaughn Construction Waco! We contacted Tailor in late summer for a remodel estimate. He came out to our house, walked the property with us, and was very attentive and full of ideas / solutions for our remodel. Communication was open and clear, and he was always accessible for any questions that we had. Once they started on our house, the project manager, Daniel, made sure everything was in tip top shape. He regularly checked in with us on if we needed anything or had any changes, and kept the job flowing. The painter, David, is fantastic and completely transformed the exterior of our home. All of the work we had done was in a quality manner with great attention to detail. I love the new window trim that David made for our dining room window. The crew at Vaughn Construction has provided excellent results at a fair price. We highly recommended them for all of your remodel or custom home building needs!”
