Gardner/Fox designed and updated this home's master and third-floor bath, as well as the master bedroom. The first step in this renovation was enlarging the master bathroom by 25 sq. ft., which allowed us to expand the shower and incorporate a new double vanity. Updates to the master bedroom include installing a space-saving sliding barn door and custom built-in storage (in place of the existing traditional closets. These space-saving built-ins are easily organized and connected by a window bench seat. In the third floor bath, we updated the room's finishes and removed a tub to make room for a new shower and sauna.

Before renovating, this bright and airy family kitchen was small, cramped and dark. The dining room was being used for spillover storage, and there was hardly room for two cooks in the kitchen. By knocking out the wall separating the two rooms, we created a large kitchen space with plenty of storage, space for cooking and baking, and a gathering table for kids and family friends. The dark navy blue cabinets set apart the area for baking, with a deep, bright counter for cooling racks, a tiled niche for the mixer, and pantries dedicated to baking supplies. The space next to the beverage center was used to create a beautiful eat-in dining area with an over-sized pendant and provided a stunning focal point visible from the front entry. This property was transformed from an 1870s YMCA summer camp into an eclectic family home, built to last for generations. Space was made for a growing family by excavating the slope beneath and raising the ceilings above. Every new detail was made to look vintage, retaining the core essence of the site, while state of the art whole house systems ensure that it functions like 21st century home. This transitional timber frame home features a wrap-around porch designed to take advantage of its lakeside setting and mountain views. Natural stone, including river rock, granite and Tennessee field stone, is combined with wavy edge siding and a cedar shingle roof to marry the exterior of the home with it surroundings. Casually elegant interiors flow into generous outdoor living spaces that highlight natural materials and create a connection between the indoors and outdoors. Gray tones playfulness a kid’s bathroom in Oak Park. This bath was design with kids in mind but still to have the aesthetic lure of a beautiful guest bathroom. The flooring is made out of gray and white hexagon tiles with different textures to it, creating a playful puzzle of colors and creating a perfect anti slippery surface for kids to use. The walls tiles are 3x6 gray subway tile with glossy finish for an easy to clean surface and to sparkle with the ceiling lighting layout. A semi-modern vanity design brings all the colors together with darker gray color and quartz countertop. In conclusion a bathroom for everyone to enjoy and admire.
