It has been interesting to see Phil's design take shape. We have made very few adjustments to the actual design. In our numerous discussions of how to place the house, Phil has done a great job. We will have incredible amounts of sunlight flowing through the main living areas of the house during the day-ESPECIALLY during the winter months. At night, the bedrooms will be nicely sheltered by the winds that at times blow very briskly across the property. Great Job! These are the fine details that Phil was able to capture for us, which we didn't even think about. I know that Phil had told us about the ceiling details during the design stage and for a non artistic person it was difficult for me to envision. Having seen it framed and how it fits with the arches through the hallway, and how at the end of the hallway, it is framed by a window that offers an incredible view, I have to say- I am truly impressed by Phil's attention to details. Thnx Phil! We worked with Phil recently. Phil was able to effectively listen to our needs/wishes and put our ideas into a design that we are very happy with. In terms of time, Phil and Matt were readily available for help and advice, often outside of "normal" work hours. They were willing to help in providing us with information about other trades that will help us achieve our goals. We have also shown the design to several builders for planning and logistics purposes and the general feedback has been that the design is coherent and well thought out. We will certainly call on Phil and Mat to do future work. It was a fabulous work relationship and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks Guys! “Josh and his team are experts at completing large scale projects on time with an eye for detail. I purchased a rental property in mid-Jan this year, and less than three months later, Krystacon has completed a major renovation right in time for students to start their school year. No other contracting firm that I have worked with has been so dedicated to on-time completion with excellent results. Josh is a master at framing with steel (but he will work with wood too). Starting with a blank canvas, Josh and his team did a great job with structural framing, spray foam and batt insulation, drywall, finishing and taping. They renovated 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, cut into the concrete slab for underground plumbing and self-leveled the basement. They worked very well with the other trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing and masonry). Pricing negotiation was upfront and Josh allows you to purchase materials yourself for reimbursement later. The company dedicates itself to a single project and sees it to completion - a skill sorely lacking in the general contracting business where contractors will jump to a more lucrative project at the first opportunity. Highly recommend this team to work with you to deliver quickly and efficiently!”
