“Currently engaged with Studio Prime in support of a design/build project here in the city of San Luis Obispo. I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and professional group to work with, but importantly, they also have a sense of humor (especially John). They are helping my wife and I design (and eventually build) a 3,000 sf custom home on an, um, "interesting" hilly site that is presenting some challenges. However, these guys know their stuff, and are deftly navigating us around those challenges. Strongly recommend these guys!”

“I interviewed a number of architects and talked to a couple of references before selecting David Ferrin and Arketype Architects for my rather different project, that of building a two story home on top of an existing stone warehouse, providing three floors plus roof-deck in a tight urban setting. Before I selected him, I was impressed with his "can-do" attitude and examples of some of his thinking outside-the-box. The design work I saw was classy and much of it different. His use of materials tends towards the green but when price becomes an issue, he will demur or come up with an alternative. David is quietly spoken and his demeanor is thoughtful, low-key and confident. The project is still 12 months away from completion (I'm writing this in May 2015 ) so it isn't possible to give you final comment but to this point I have been VERY happy with his work. He is quick to effect changes and is very thorough with his plans, attention to detail (according to several other architects and planners) being well above what is normally produced. I swear this attention to detail is what allowed our plans to get through to permitting in so few hearings.”

“Simply put, Legacy Builders were amazing to work with from start to finish. Communication is top notch, everyone we worked with (Jon, Sadie, Evan and Steven) were easy to get ahold of and were quick to respond. Jon and Sadie took the time up front to help us design our ADU and the final product reflected that, even going over potential hiccups that could happen so we would be aware and prepared if anything did happen. Their estimates of work, and project management skills are top notch offering different options for estimates depending on which kind of work/look we wanted. They’re super flexible and work with you to get things just the way you like for as close to your budget as is possible. Evan (our project manager) would always keep us in the loop about when things were happening and next steps to come, so we were never left wondering "what's happening next?". They’re loyal to their people, and their people are loyal to them. Hands down would recommend to anyone needing construction/design work done. If we have another project in the future we will definitely be returning costumes.. oh yeah and our project ended up being completed a whole 2 MONTHS than the original estimated completion date! We absolutely LOVE our ADU- now 840sqft which my husband and I live in and couldn’t have done it without Legacy Builders.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Hybrid Construction on multiple home improvement projects as well as remodels. Whether the project is large in size or small they are always friendly and professional. They offer design recommendations and suggestions as well as preforming the actual work to get the job done. The owner is always responsive to my many questions and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of the various options that are presented to me for my project. When you hire Hybrid Construction for your project you can be assured that the owner will be on the job site on daily basis, not just at the time that you sign the contract. As we all know, this is not always the case w/ General Construction companies. This is 1 major differentiator in my opinion, between Hybrid and other companies. I have been living and working from my home while construction is being preformed. I truly appreciate Hybrid Construction's attention to detail in both the creative space as well as the day to day cleanliness of the job site. To know that my home will be left neat and tidy and the end of the working day is a relief! Hybrid Construction represents a team of honest, reliable, creative and hard working individuals. “We had no idea how wonderful it could be to have an architect's help until we met Jessica. We felt listened to and like she really took the time to hear an understand our project. When we called Jessica (at the suggestion of our realtor) for help in remodeling the kitchen in the house we were purchasing, we had no idea what a gift she would be! Not only is she excellent with all the design details and measurements and everything else an architect is supposed to do, but she was able to help us with materials and think outside the box to accomplish our goals in creative ways. Jessica also helped us tie in the look and feel of our kitchen/dining room to our front outdoor space and thought of other details we wouldn't have even considered. Jessica was professional and easy to work with, she was gracious and even able to understand/communicate well with both my husband and me and help us figure out what we wanted. We are so thankful we found such a great Architect in SLO!!”

“I hired Dan to coordinate my recent kitchen remodel. I had a good idea what I wanted but several other people I sought bids from discouraged me and tried to change my plan. This company had a 'can do' attitude and nothing was too hard for them to carry out. My kitchen remodel knocked out a small wall, moved the sink (which involved extensive plumbing), stove and refrigerator placement, installed new cabinets, counter tops, flooring,windows,appliances,lighting and a barn door. All of the building professionals employed for this job were respectful, reliable, and well qualified to carry out the job at hand. It was a pleasure doing business with Ferreira Inc. The project lasted 2 months from planning to completion and was completed within the planned budget amounts. We received good value for quality work.”
