“We underwent a massive remodel of an untouched 1967 home. We had multiple walls removed and completely revamped the space creating an open kitchen/dining/living space. As first-time remodelers, we really wanted a lot of support throughout the process because we didn't even know where to begin! Mountainwood met and surpassed all of our expectations. We also remodeled in a time during the pandemic when tradespeople, supplies, and the whole industry were so backed up. Despite this, Mountainwood was able to get everything done on a super reasonable timeline and budget. The best part of the experience was the people and customer service. All the Mountainwood team members were kind, genuine, and helpful people. Same goes for the subcontractors and tradespeople. We overall had a wonderful and smooth experience even though this was a huge project (to us at least!), and I 100% recommend Mountainwood!”

“We chose Lamont Brothers to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms after interviewing other firms, and are very happy with the decision. We felt great confidence with BaSharia Middleton's skills to take our ideas and bring them to reality within the budget we had negotiated. BaSharia found some unusual, beautiful backsplash tiles that greatly enhanced the appearance of the rooms, helped us rethink some of our ideas that (in retrospect) would not have looked good, and monitored every step of the design as it evolved from broad outlines, through the "consider these alternatives" stage, to the final design. "JT" is an absolute master of tile work. Cory Pena juggled various phases of the work to keep us very close to the original schedule - snowstorms in Alaska and one subcontractor's hiccup notwithstanding! (And Lamont has strengthened its procedures to eliminate that possible error in future projects.) I should note that no project is perfect, and no contractor is perfect. There are simply too many unknowables before work begins despite everybody's best efforts. What matters is how the crew deals with those situations when they arise: a drain pipe where you didn't expect it, a mid-project homeowner design change, or the like. We were confident that everything would work out well, and it did. The crew took excellent care of our home as well. Our friends and neighbors have praised the project. We would certainly hire Lamont Brothers again, and have referred them to friends planning their own renovations.”
