“Jim Gempeler of GMK is an extremely talented designer. He originally designed a house for us 25 years ago. Then we had him build an addition. The design, flow and process was seamless. He incorporated the beauty of the outdoors throughout. He is very creative and innovative. Yet sensitive to the tastes, preferences and budget of the client. He is versatile as well, creating designs that reflect the culture and natural setting of very different regions of the country. We could not be happier with the result. As a result we have a new house and a lifelong friend.”

“We hired Julie for a "second opinion" on an addition design for our home. The design we had come up with wasn't quite right, and the cost estimate was much higher than we wanted to spend. We told her we were looking for general ideas, and maybe rough concept drawings of a possible new design. She looked at our current plans and photos of our house, and reviewed my comments on the situation. After coming up with several possibilities, she came to our house with her laptop. During the course of a couple hours we were able to work through several scenarios and come up with a new direction that looks better, feels better, and is more in line with our needs and resources. She helped us to hone in on the important issues, and see that it was possible to move in the direction we wanted to go. She kept to the scope of our request for her services, was very helpful, and the cost was reasonable and fair. We were very pleased with her work.”

His services are professional, friendly and without pressure. His goal was to design us the best use of space. He was able to introduce us to our eventual builder and worked well with the entire subcontracted team.”

“Todd did excellent work designing our remodel/addition. Cars driving down the street in front of our house slow and often stop, just to see what was created on a small lot on the near west side of Madison. Todd's design was whimsical (I love his design style, even if I tease him about "what's that for?"), functional, and his services were economical too! Stop for a tour almost any time. 15 S Owen Drive.”

“Andy at Ginko House is one of the best. His designs are both cutting edge and thoughtful. He is very good at creating space that feels right, and looks great. I've worked with him as a contractor several times, and found him to be a team player, very responsive, yet keeps the integrity of the project at the forefront. His client side manner is excellent. He works very hard to understand what the client is after, and strives to give the client exactly what they need. I reccomend Ginko House Architects very highly.”
