“I had about a third of my basement, about 550 sq. ft., completed using the Matrix Basement System. This r-18 rated, water proof, mold proof, mildew proof system (4' by 8' panels) was perfect for protecting my investment. They also did my drop ceiling, all electrical, hvac work and installed the three doors we added. The total process took about 4 weeks. The work crew was very professional. They worked with me in coordinating the parts of this project that I had other contractors complete and made the whole experience very enjoyable. My completed basement blends in with the rest of my house. The insulated panels keeps the humidity down and the temperatures at the same level as my upstairs level. I love it.”

“I have used Odd Fellows Contracting at least five times in the last ten years. I have even recommended them to my parents. Odd Fellows has always had experienced professionals do my jobs, the people have been friendly and take pride in their work. They do a great job of cleaning up during and after the job. The jobs they have done have been, dig out and redo a crawl space; redo two bathrooms; replace a outside wall and place new flooring down; repair a garage roof as well as replace sections of a covered walkway roof and place new supports for the walkway. My parents were very pleased with the basement ceiling and lighting that was done for them. Odd Fellow is my go to contractor. (the date and cost is for the last project they did for me.)”

“We had a small master bathroom with a huge jet tub, one sink, toilet and small shower. Hickory Builders came up with a design that made the bathroom feel twice as big with everything we wanted. By taking one of the linen closets on the other side of the wall and removing the unused jet tub, they were able to not only make a large shower my husband wanted, but also put in a double sink, claw foot tub and a beautiful cabinet with a lot of storage. The transformation is amazing and a pleasure to be in whether in the tub soaking in a nice soothing hot bath or showering with lots of room. The cabinetry is custom built and the quality is second to none. They are professional, clean and go above and beyond! We also had the kitchen done a few years earlier and also an outstanding job, that's why we had them back. I would trust them with any project large or small, their attention to detail from start to finish is great, on scheduling to picking out fixtures and guiding with great suggestions.”

“During the past two years, my husband and I have embarked upon a major home remodeling project. We chose Giraffe Design Build to design and execute extensive remodeling of our 1950’s era ranch home, including a new roof with 3-foot overhangs in the Prairie style, and a new porch, entrance way, dining room and kitchen. Martin Clarke, our designer, has worked closely with us every step of the way. He has been extremely careful in making sure that he has captured our vision of how we want our remodeled space to appear. He has invested levels of creativity and enthusiasm that far exceed ordinary expectations, resulting in a beautiful, distinctive, and extremely well-crafted remodel. The entire staff at Giraffe has been responsive to our budget, and has given us accurate estimates of the costs and benefits of all prospective changes. Progress has been excellent: we have stayed very close to our timeline. The Giraffe construction crew, supervised by Geoff Beck, has gone out of their way to be courteous and helpful, and to communicate on-going questions and issues concerning the remodeling process. They take great pride in their workmanship, resulting in extraordinary levels of quality. “R. L. Rider Co. worked with me to remodel the living room, dining room, bedroom, and kitchen of my 1870s farmhouse. This included redoing walls, adding crown moldings, moving a doorway, matching bead board, and a complete kitchen gut remodel (including design services). The work is absolutely stunning. I would not have believed the result had I not lived through the process, which they made as smooth as possible. Constant communication.
