They were in the middle of the building process when I purchased the house, so I dealt with them on selecting all finishes, etc. They were a pleasure to deal with and were always available to answer any of my questions, concerns, requests, and so on. “Handcrafted Builders has just completed a second floor addition of three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms in our lake house. Gregg and his team demonstrated professional expertise at all times. Gregg is more than a general contractor; he is truly an expert in exterior and interior design. He carefully chooses his subcontractors and immediately responds to client needs. Our project took approximately six months, longer than expected, but the delays were generally due to an extremely bad winter in the Northeast. Overall, we highly recommend Handcrafted Builders and plan to use them again for additional construction projects next year.”

“Working with Jimmy Crisp and his associates was a great and valuable learning experience that could not have turned out better than it did. Jimmy truly met, and in many instances, went beyond our expectations. The project, which was a complete gut renovation, went very smoothly and it did come in on budget with the exception of new items that were included after our original quote. Of course there were differences of opinions and long discussions about changes/desired outcomes and new costs, however, I would say that because of Jimmy's constant presence at the site, complete knowledge of exactly what was suppose to happen at all stages of the project and calm manner we escaped situations that could, at the time, have been less satisfactory. Jimmy, the associates and clerical employees of his firm are all a 10 in my book! My experience with Crisp Architects makes me believe that anyone seeking a great architect, backed by a most professional staff, could not do better than to choose Crisp Architects.”

“For the past five years I have contracted Centerline Construction to work on my house in Columbia County, New York. The projects have been diverse, from the installation of a new hot water system to remodeling bathrooms and bedrooms. The quality of the work has always been exceptional, and I have always been very satisfied with the end result. They listen carefully to my requests, and I am particularly impressed with their efforts to understand my personal aesthetic and vision. A recent example of this involved the installation of Moroccan tiles in my kitchen and bathroom. This project was quite difficult given these handmade tiles were often uneven and each a little crooked, which to me was part of their special appeal. Centerline was able to accommodate this variety and I now have beautiful, perfectly laid floors in an old-world style that blends magnificently with the rest of the house. In regards to the cost, Centerline's estimates have always been accurate and very fair. I would surely recommend Centerline Construction to anyone who wants to have a job done right and, at the same time, aesthetically pleasing. I am most impressed with the company’s high level of integrity and their warm customer-oriented style.”

Tony chose the trees, harvested them , planed the beams , and designed and erected the most beautiful, elegant front entry we've ever seen or could have imagined. It has a simplicity that makes the most of the wood and complements the design of the house. His enthusiasm and craftmanship with the project was unparalleled in our experience.”

“Rob is a complete professional. Honest and full of integrity and the most knowledgeable tradesperson I have encountered and I have hired many over the past 30 years of owning homes. He can pretty much do it all from basic carpentry to finished work including cabinet making. He can also do plumbing, electrical, laying tile, etc. etc. Furthermore, he doesn't mind doing work that is well below his skill level if that is what is required to finish the job. You would be a full not to hire him.”
