It has been a joy to see our vision unfold with Don as he deftly works with our builder, his structural engineering partner, our cabinet maker, and others on our complex project. He has taken a very rough plan, started by another architectural firm with which we were unsatisfied, mixed in quite a number of unique and complicated requests from us along with forbidding site restrictions and has turned it into a detailed set of drawings that has "wowed" all with whom we have shared. Our builder and his tradesmen have easily implemented our shared vision straight from Don's plans. Many of our complicated requests, including a float room, sauna, elevator, and golf simulator/theater/business conference room combination (to name just a few) started as simple ideas scribbled on a napkin. With Don's expertise and experience, he quickly showed us many alternatives; turning our crazy simple sketches into detailed plans that worked within our uniquely challenging house footprint. Designer/decorator Pat Westgate was so easy to work with, accompanying me to granite, tile, appliance and plumbing showrooms, all of which were totally overwhelming. She gently guided me to the best choices, gave her opinions when asked, whittled choices down when there were too many, etc. She was also a great resource when choosing lighting, always difficult for us since my husband and I have different tastes in that regard. She and Project Manager Jim Goin suggested some design changes that we are very happy with. Friends comment on how "solid" the house is--so well insulated from outside noise. It's an exceptionally well built house, with great attention to detail.”

“I met Chris when I was hired to build a custom shower he and his wife had designed. Walking into the near complete renovation project is was obvious Chris had great attention to detail. The tile I installed highlighted other colors in the master suite.... All the trims were fluent throughout the house, color schemes all seemed to work well together.
