“We have worked with Jack "n" Toolbox a number of times over the last two decades. They have remodeled a bathroom, rebuilt two exterior staircases, repaired a slab leak, built a laundry room, replaced a spiral staircase with a straight drop one and remodeled the room into which it descended and, most important of all, identified and corrected a major building error made by a previous owner which surfaced during the torrential rains of January 2005. In all instances, their work was over and above anything we might have hoped for. The employees of the company listen carefully to our wishes and provide helpful input; they are prompt, respectful and tidy. It has been our pleasure to recommend Jack 'n' Toolbox to several friends, some of whom have acted up on our recommendation.”

“When my wife and I moved to the Central Coast from the Central Valley (sound familiar?), we wanted not just a change in scenery, or cooler temperatures, we wanted a lifestyle change. We bought a mobile home in a great spot, but the home had an existing 3-level deck that was very old, poorly designed, and really just ugly. We interviewed 3 different builders, and we did not have to look any further once we met Isaac, the proprietor of IMC Building. He just understood exactly what we wanted without a lot of need for us to draw the picture. In fact, he drew the pictures! Mobile home parks have some surprisingly stringent requirements for decks, Isaac was able to wade through the confusing, arbitrary, and sometimes contradictory requirements from the state agency that oversees mobile homes. The end result is that we got an amazingly stout structure that looks incredible and gives us literally hours of joy each and every day. We added 1,000 sq ft of livable space to our mobile home, and we recommend IMC Building to everyone who asks about our beautiful deck.”

“From start to finish, Cal Granite & Natural Stone was so pleasant to work with, accommodating, and prompt. They had superior products at a greatly discounted price as well. When I decided I needed a sample of the stone for design purposes before it was installed, they quickly cut and finish-edged a 12" square piece - no extra charge! Then they carried it to my trunk, secured it safely, and I was on my way. Installation day finally came, and they proved they are craftsmen who know how to bring out the beauty in the stone we picked out. I would use their company again in a heartbeat.”

“Currently engaged with Studio Prime in support of a design/build project here in the city of San Luis Obispo. I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and professional group to work with, but importantly, they also have a sense of humor (especially John). They are helping my wife and I design (and eventually build) a 3,000 sf custom home on an, um, "interesting" hilly site that is presenting some challenges. However, these guys know their stuff, and are deftly navigating us around those challenges. Strongly recommend these guys!”

“Shane and the Crew at Associated Construction have helped me with several projects spanning over a decade. They have remodeled several commercial buildings, including a restaurant & bar. They also did a major remodel on my house. Craftsmanship, Quality of Work, Job Completion are several of the reasons I have stayed with Associated. I have high traffic facilities that the work performed by Associated manages to hold up to heavy use very well. Very professional & respectful staff from top to bottom at Associated Construction. “Simply put, Legacy Builders were amazing to work with from start to finish. Communication is top notch, everyone we worked with (Jon, Sadie, Evan and Steven) were easy to get ahold of and were quick to respond. Jon and Sadie took the time up front to help us design our ADU and the final product reflected that, even going over potential hiccups that could happen so we would be aware and prepared if anything did happen. Their estimates of work, and project management skills are top notch offering different options for estimates depending on which kind of work/look we wanted. They’re super flexible and work with you to get things just the way you like for as close to your budget as is possible. Evan (our project manager) would always keep us in the loop about when things were happening and next steps to come, so we were never left wondering "what's happening next?". They’re loyal to their people, and their people are loyal to them. Hands down would recommend to anyone needing construction/design work done. If we have another project in the future we will definitely be returning costumes.. oh yeah and our project ended up being completed a whole 2 MONTHS than the original estimated completion date! We absolutely LOVE our ADU- now 840sqft which my husband and I live in and couldn’t have done it without Legacy Builders.”
