“The first time we entered the Modiani showroom in Englewood, we knew we had found the kitchen we wanted. We were struck by the sleek and beautiful Italian design of the sample kitchens in the showroom. The cabinets are exquisite and finely made, both inside and out; the interiors have creative and user-friendly storage units and the options are abundant. Then when we met Kobi we were convinced. His experience and expertise in kitchen design were very evident. We liked his calm manner and felt comfortable working with him. We sensed that he really cared about delivering a kitchen to us, one as beautiful and perfect as those in his showroom. We both enjoy cooking and now have our dream kitchen. Not only is it beautiful, it is a joy to work in. Our intuition to choose Modiani above all others served us well. In addition to having among the finest cabinets, Kobi and Gil are caring businessmen who are a pleasure to deal with. Our designer from MCM Designs in Englewood appreciated their creativity and thoroughly enjoyed working with them. They were professional and reliable every step of the way. We had computer 3D drawings that allowed us to make changes and fully envision our kitchen, a delivery date as promised, extremely skilled and punctual installers and Kobi personally checked up on the process during installation at our home. “We can’t say enough about the amazing way Alison renovated our 1960’s house from an outdated design that did not meet our needs to a beautifully functional design that we now love! We renovated our kitchen and two bathrooms, which can be a daunting task when the situation seems hopeless and you don’t know where to start. Alison brought a holistic approach to the design, creating a functional space that was consistent with the period of the house. She made sure the design worked well with the adjacent space, and helped us with every detail along the way including selection of tile, plumbing fixtures, flooring, appliances, etc… Our kitchen and our master bath were both extremely space challenged and very dated. Somehow Alison found space where there wasn't any before. Our master bath was a postage stamp sized cubicle with a closet style shower and 1960s green tile. Alison had the vision to expand that space into an adjacent closet while maximizing our other closet space in the master bedroom. She designed a beautiful walk-in shower with waterfall tiling and a new expanded vanity, which allows my wife and I to use the bathroom at the same time. We now have an expansive walk-in closet in our master bedroom without sacrificing significant space in the master bedroom. Our kitchen may have been even more of a challenge than our bathroom and the changes that Alison made completely transformed the functionality and beauty of the kitchen. We started with a 1960's galley kitchen with original cabinets, very limited storage space, an undersized oven, and laminated countertops that were space constrained with our microwave and other appliances. Cooking together in our old kitchen was an impossible task as we were constantly bumping into each other. Alison's vision for our kitchen included bumping out the kitchen wall adjacent to our dining room and using the space where the wall had been for new gas cooktop, serving area and additional cabinets. The dining room side of the expansion now includes beautiful glass cabinets that display our formal china. Alison totally reorganized the flow of the kitchen to allow several people to work in the kitchen comfortably. She expanded the entrance from our living room into the kitchen giving it a much more open feel. We now have over twice the amount of cabinet space we previously had and numerous features that make the kitchen far more functional. We are extremely grateful to Alison for make our home so much warmer and more beautiful.”

“Julie Holzman is simply terrific. She has great taste and is the consummate professional. She really listens. She has terrific contacts, having been in the business for many years, great sources and gives you plenty of attention even if you have a small project. I went to her for help after the designers I hired skipped town halfway through decorating an entire house. She was the only decorator I interviewed (and I spoke with many) who understood I had no desire to start over from scratch. She looked at what had been started, remained true to the original vision, made an exact assessment of what was needed to finish the job. She didn't waste time trying to convince me to get rid of things just because I had purchased them from other decorators. In fact, she made the entire experience a pleasure and now the house looks sensational. I wish I could have hired her from the beginning. A year later, I relied on her expertise to do another project that included painting and drapery installation and ordering a few items to spruce up another residence including custom rugs. Again, fabulous results, right down to the perfect match of colors in the yarn of the rugs to match a sofa that I didn't wish to replace. If you want a beautiful home, and you want it done right the first time, I would hire Holzman Interiors without hesitation, and would recommend her with the utmost enthusiasm. ”

“Andrew and his team renovated a master bath which was anything but master. The space is rather small and we wanted it redone from top to bottom. Andrew came in and gave my husband and I some good ideas on how to make the space look bigger. Once he and his team started, the process was completely smooth and easy. They were here at the same time every morning and took great care to cover the floors and carpets leading to the bathroom. At the end the day they cleaned up everything completely. The job was done within the time frame Andrew stated and the bathroom is everything I could have imagined and more! Our next project is a kitchen renovation and when the time comes, I will use NJ Kitchens and Baths for that as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone.”
