“Scott Arnold, Arnold Landscape Architecture + Design PLLC, and his team represent the very best of professionalism. Scott was incredibly quick to find a time he could walk through my project with me. I already had a great plan drawn and he made it fantastic by adding subtle nuances I would have never thought of. Scott’s knowledge and experience was the difference maker in transferring a “paper plan” to the shape and form of my landscaping while he and his team’s professionalism was what reinforced the fact that I had made the right decision to entrust my yard and landscaping to him. Scott did a great job of communicating with me when his team would be at the house and what the action plan of the day was. His team was punctual, polite and industrious while on site. Scott, thankfully, factored in some “wiggle” room for “what if” scenarios and, as stated earlier, provided a “value add” proposition when offering suggestions . I am incredibly pleased with my new landscaping. I have had countless neighbors and “walkers” of the neighborhood compliment my new beds and their design. “We have been so pleased with our new landscape design by Cat Valand Landscape Design. Our shrubs had been planted over 30 years ago (when our house was originally built), and they were either too large for the area, or too scraggly because of age. Cat Valand gave our home a new "facelift" and was so easy to work with. One side of our yard slopes down and we have struggled with keeping dirt in place; Cat immediately realized we needed a small retaining wall; she helped us pick out the stone for the wall and had it installed. She made arrangements for our old plants to be removed, selected new ones, and had them installed. Cat was at our home when she said she would be....each day the workers were here, they were on time and cleaned up their work area. We have a lot of people in and out of our home and have received many complimentary comments on our new landscaping. Our home looks very welcoming! We would highly recommend Cat Valand Landscape Design.”

Wendi is not only a work horse, she comes in with creative energy and expertise that I could NEVER replicate on my own! She picked out plants that are natural to our area, with colors that blended together beautifully. She went beyond the call of duty to keep my costs to a minimum, advising me of local sales and even coming with me on a couple of occasions to pick out plants that fit my personal taste and objectives. I love working with a company that is so into it for the love of gardening as opposed to a love of money! Can't go wrong with Artistry in Plants! :-)”

“Jay did an incredible job in my yard. I have a lot of space and for a few years kept "trying" out a bunch of different plants. He asked me what I liked and didn't like. He came in looked at the space , measured and gave me his vision of the space and told me the plants he was recommending. I honestly feel he has a gift. I have been interested in gardening for years and know plants fairly well but Jay's vision was so much more than I ever imagined. He thought of colors, movement , space and seasons. Something no other garden designer has ever done ! The yard turned out beautifully ! I am excitedly awaiting the spring show of movement ,design , color and beauty. I have 2 more small areas I want him to do ... areas I have not liked since I moved in here and did them 6yrs ago. CAN"T WAIT to see what he will do !”
