“We had a fantastic experience working with Jennifer. After a quick consult, she quickly delivered a simple and elegant plan that maximized our space and helped transform our spartan backyard into a relaxing oasis. Jennifer is very intuitive and quickly grasped what we were after: a clean, west-coast inspired, low maintenance space featuring bamboo, a dining and lounge space and an outdoor fireplace. We also challenged her to obscure our backyard parking pad which she accomplished through clever tree placement and a mix of materials including an Ipe deck, 18" Indian stone and asphalt. “We first hired Carina Cassidy Design a few years ago, when we needed some help with landscaping our previous home. She patiently and collaboratively worked with us, and our landscaping contractor, with the utmost professionalism. She brought her own fresh ideas to the project.... and agreeably collaborated on our own. Her creative is fantastic, as is the knowledge of her craft. She would make smart recommendations, and always backed it up with 'why'. She adhered to agreed-upon deadlines and budget. Overall, I'd say using her enhanced the whole experience, and we were thrilled with the end result. So much so, that we are now working with her and her team, on our new home (a much bigger job)... and can't wait to see it to completion!”

“I found Sasha through Houzz. I was looking for someone to design and install my brownstone garden, including Ipe fencing all around. My garden is sensational. Sasha's ideas are terrific. He and his men are perfectionists. The trades he finds for speciality items, such as metal planters, do exceptional work. “Short version: Peter is incredible, and you should hire him immediately. Longer version: We met him on a recommendation after another local landscape designer proved himself an utter disappointment. We have a cute little Craftsman cottage in Elmwood Village, and we wanted a native-heavy perennial garden with some entertainment space and a little spot for our puppy. Peter delivered, and then some! He effortlessly pairs practicality with a wonderful eye for design. The very first question he asked was, "How do you envision using this space?" From there, it was all about color, the level of maintenance we were comfortable with, what plants we loved (and didn't), what sort of hardscape materials we favored, etc. He heard every single thing that was important to us, and his plans reflected our priorities. He found unexpected ways to bring our vision to life and save some money along the way. But he didn't stop there... when he heard of our plans to install a small mural along our driveway, he found two local artists for us to consult. He gave us his best recommendation for a local contractor to handle the hardscape. And then he gave us names and tips for getting the best prices on plants from local growers. He was amazing every step of the way and I can't wait to tell everybody who comes to the 2022 Buffalo Garden Walk who helped make my garden gorgeous!”
