He painted our basement, and we hired him again later after a fire. Painting is inevitably disruptive, but Joe tries to keep this to a minimum. He's very helpful with advice. “Alan came highly recommended by a trusted friend who had hired him to paint her office.
After our leaky roof was repaired (that's another recommendation) we had large areas where the old plaster skim coat had come loose and even larger areas where the paint was discolored and even moldy. If you hadn't seen it before, you'd never know Alan had been here. There is not a speck of paint on our beautiful parkay floors or the oak paneling that abuts the places he restored for us. Where there was no damage, the old paint remains -- and the new paint is such a perfect match for it, no one will even notice some is new and some is old.
Pleasant to have around, reasonable pricing, prompt and careful work. He'll be coming back for more work in the future, I'm sure.”
