“I will definitely be using La Jolla Pools for my future client projects! I contacted Bart at La Jolla pools regarding some remodeling to my clients pool. He came out the same day to meet with me and went over every one of my concerns. A little back story to the condition of this pool before La Jolla Pools came into the picture.....This pool is suspended on caissons that go 50+ feet into the ground so you can walk underneath it. It has vanishing edges on both ends of the pool where the original builder put fiber optic lighting (no longer used or sold). The existing lighting did not work, even after the current pool guy replaced the unit (and charged $900 for it). Given the structure of the pool, boring holes in the vanishing edge walls seemed to be a tricky request. The pool plumbing was all messed up, half the jets in the hot tub were not even plumbed and if you didn't select the right features, the hot tub would drain into the tanks under the vanishing edges, flooding the area under the pool. To top that off, ALL of the plumbing was located under the deck with no more than a 3-4 foot crawl space. Bart was extremely knowledgeable about everything and was able to easily explain what needed to be done to correct the problems. I’m sure fixing someone else's mistakes is not what most contractors prefer to take on but La Jolla Pools was up for the challenge. Bart did not over sell anything or try to push any unnecessary additions on my client. He sent off the bid within a few days and had a start day within 2 weeks. My client signed the contract and was ready to begin. His workers were always on time, VERY professional and respectful. I had many questions throughout the project and they were very helpful with answering all the questions I had. The owner Bart regularly checked in with me to advise the status of how things were going and see if I had any questions. Bart estimated about 3 weeks to complete the project and finished it in 2 weeks. The pool was full and ready to be fired up on Monday after the weekend. My client was having guests in town that didn't expect to be able to use the pool because of the construction. Because we were running a week ahead of schedule and Monday they were going to finish, Bart offered to come over on Saturday morning to make sure everything was up and running so his guests could use the pool. The pool looks great & functions better than ever now! I could not be happier with how things turned out and DEFINITELY recommend using La Jolla Pools if you are doing a remodel or are building a new pool! Thank you again Bart, a job well done!”

He also is completely up to date on the latest technologies with pool design, equipment, plumbing, electrical, and concrete which will make your project last a lifetime. Grant Smith oversaw the entire build process from start to finish, and continues to be available after the project has been completed for any questions. I was deathly afraid of this entire process, because the entire pool contractor/landscape contractor industry has such a horrible reputation and is full of such crooked people, but Grant Smith met and exceeded all of our expectations bar none.
