1) Are the raised wooden panels around the base of the tub removable for maintenance of the jacuzzi pump? 2) Did you run electric heat strips under the shower seat? I thought a marble seat was a good idea until the first time I sat on mine in winter
1) Yes, they're held in place with clips. 2) There isn't heat in the bench but wasn't meant so much for sitting as it is for putting a leg up for shaving

1980's. It was made by Chapman of solid brass with faux ivory accents. I'm not sure where you might locate another but I suggest looking at the website "1stDibs" as they have many vintage offerings.
