“We interviewed 3 architects and chose John Allegretti based on his previous work and enthusiasm for our specific project. We wanted to go from a 1-1/2 story, 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath to something more. Our lot size is 33 x 132 ft. which isn't much to work with. Our location on lake Michigan's Silver Beach is extremely desirable but our home was not allowing us to take full advantage of available views. John created a full second story complete with a master suite (bedroom, bath and living area) and walk out second floor deck. This deck offers privacy and another beach view perspective. We now have expansive views throughout our home. (John used glass railings throughout.) We ended up with a more spacious home than we had envisioned. John also presented our project to the local planning commission (we needed variances), and remained engaged throughout the project which was a big help to us. We would work with John Allegretti and his associates again.”

“We have worked with S N Peck over the past 6+ years for forensic investigation of leaks, repairs and refinish. The process is often tedious and the schedule and cost unknown in the beginning. SNPeck is tenacious and as thorough as is realistic in assessing the best remedy - and the final result is perfection. They are always very respectful of contents and finishes of our home, both inside and out with a wide radius of protection around the construction areas. They are always forthcoming with their findings and recommended remedies as they are realized. However, the project management is often overwhelmed which does cause some frustration during the process.”

“Zambrano Development repaired and painted bay windows built in 1966 to prevent leaks and and improve the outward appearance of the house. They also a rebuilt a wooden gate. The work looks good but of course I am not a good judge and time will tell how long it lasts. I could not always reach them by cell phones. One day the two people I wanted to contact had full mailboxes. Also I would like to have been called on the days when they did not come, even though, yes, I know you can't work outdoors in the rain. Everyone who worked at the house was polite and pleasant. I would recommend this company.”
