“We've hired this company twice. The first time was an insurance-covered repair to our garage roof. The company was prompt, gave a detailed estimate of costs, worked well with our insurance company, and did quality work. Several months after the job was completed, they returned at our request to replace some materials that were warping. Our second project was to fix a leak in our roof and install a skylight. Again, very prompt, courteous service and they made sure the work was completely satisfactory before they departed.”

“J.K. Janiga designed not one but two of the most magnificent homes that anyone would love to live in. He listened to everyones input and drew up two designs that made us speechless. There was no reason to redo any drawing. He heard us the first time around. Jerry was there from beginning to end. Supervised all building of his /our project. Made detailed suggestions that were well thought out and worked. IF I were to ever build again I would only turn to J. K. Janiga. Thanks Jerry again, Kelly and Geoff Thomas”

“My husband and I originally worked with Brad and Theresa Angelini in 1991 when we bought our home. We did a whole house renovation. In addition to detailed architectural drawings they provided three dimensional models showing what the home would look like after the renovation. It was an absolute delight to work with them and a major plus to work with a husband and wife team. Over the years we have worked with them several more times on various projects including expansion of a room through an exterior wall, redoing the deck, roof, and siding, adding additional windows to the home, etc. Each time they have been wonderful to work with. Brad and Theresa are very thoughtful, creative, responsive, practical, genial, and professional. We highly recommend them.”

“Molly Bachelor was our architect for a recent project that involved a new front porch with Azek deck and steps and a cedar ceiling, a new exposed-aggregate concrete front walkway with a solid steel blacksmith-crafted handrail, LED path lighting on cedar posts supporting the railing and along the walkway and driveway, and new paint on the plywood panels between the redwood siding on our midcentury modern home. Molly did an excellent job of listening to our needs and desires, and then developing a plan that would enhance the curb appeal and increase the safety of our home. Her design respected the style of the house but gave it a unique flair. She connected us with a contractor who was as pleasant to work with as she was. Molly was easy to reach when a question was raised or a decision needed to be made – by us or by one of the contractor’s crews. We are delighted with the results and highly recommend Molly Bachelor as an architect.”

“We worked with a Structural Engineer to help us design a remodel of our home. Once we got to city planning, everything became way too complicated for the engineer to navigate. Finally I arranged to hire Scott from Maison Orion to help. In short, Scott was able to compile all of the materials, consult with us, work with the coordinators at City Planning and complete the application and package for the HPOZ Committee. Thanks to Scott, we have our Certificate of Appropriateness and I'm thinking using him for continued assistance through the process with Building and Safety as well as construction. I look forward to continuing working with Scott and Maison Orion.”

“Connie is an outstanding architect. She has many strengths as an architect and is particularly gifted at reshaping areas that are ill designed. There were many design flaws in our home, and Connie produced clever ideas to resolve these issues and create a beautiful living space. She also excels at solving problems on the fly. There were many instances where what we found under the walls was not what was on the original blueprints. Connie was quick to respond to these issues and come up with brilliant, cost effective solutions in a short amount of time. She also has elegant taste and did an outstanding job designing the exterior siding of our home, as well as all the interior trim. Connie is very easy to get along with and has been a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Connie. She’s fabulous!”
