“We hired Julie for a "second opinion" on an addition design for our home. The design we had come up with wasn't quite right, and the cost estimate was much higher than we wanted to spend. We told her we were looking for general ideas, and maybe rough concept drawings of a possible new design. She looked at our current plans and photos of our house, and reviewed my comments on the situation. After coming up with several possibilities, she came to our house with her laptop. During the course of a couple hours we were able to work through several scenarios and come up with a new direction that looks better, feels better, and is more in line with our needs and resources. She helped us to hone in on the important issues, and see that it was possible to move in the direction we wanted to go. She kept to the scope of our request for her services, was very helpful, and the cost was reasonable and fair. We were very pleased with her work.”

“Mike was able to design us the kitchen we wanted and was very easy to work with. He asks for needs and wants and quickly implements the ideas into the plan with an excellent turnaround time. His services are professional, friendly and without pressure. His goal was to design us the best use of space. He was able to introduce us to our eventual builder and worked well with the entire subcontracted team.”

“I had a great experience working with Tony. Instead of just replacing my cabinets and countertops, Tony was able to design a beautiful and functional space that now has specific zones for cooking, dining and entertaining. The flow of the room is open to the great room which improved the entire space. The sight lines were changed to maximize the natural light and take advantage of the beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Tony worked within my budget and listened to my desires and goals. He suggested changes that I didn't think were possible. These changes made a huge difference in the outcome of the design. The end result reflects my personality, and still retains the architecture style of my 1970's era home. My favorite aspect of the entire experience was that he listened to my needs. He designed the space with my interest and goals in mind. I highly recommend Tony Walker, Architect & Associates, LLC to anyone interested in a home remodel.”

“We built a new home with the design help of John Melby. He was terrific! He had a lot of great ideas that others had not thought of, kept our construction budget constraints in mind throughout the process, and was extremely fast and responsive. John was able to listen to our ideas and “get on the same page” almost instantly, staying true to our desired style and function. If we build again or even remodel we will definitely use Melby Design.”

“Meri was so wonderful to work with! She took our napkin pencil drawing and turned it into the home of our dreams! We had some specific features we wanted worked into our home and she made it a priority to accommodate all of these special features! She is incredibly skilled in energy efficient, usable space that is beautiful as well. We can say after living in our new home there is no wasted space and all is very functional and beautiful at the same time. She was accessible and open during the whole building process, even after the design phase in order to help us bring the design features into reality. Meri is innovative, personable and so easy to work with and has designed our home to match our dream! We would highly recommend Meri as an architecht!”

“Todd did excellent work designing our remodel/addition. Cars driving down the street in front of our house slow and often stop, just to see what was created on a small lot on the near west side of Madison. Todd's design was whimsical (I love his design style, even if I tease him about "what's that for?"), functional, and his services were economical too! Stop for a tour almost any time. 15 S Owen Drive.”

“Gregory served as the architect for an addition to our 150 year old two story log farm house. He did a good job of listening and understanding our objectives and visions for the space. In addition to drawing the plans, he developed a detailed and realistic budget for the project. Throughout the construction he worked with our GC to track costs and manage the project. We are thrilled with how the space turned out and would absolutely recommend Gregory.”
