“I worked with the Plano location. iDeal floors did a fantastic install, in a difficult room, at an amazing price. I really couldn't be more pleased. After getting the run around at several locations: prices inexplicably raising $800 or more with no explanation. . . And just in general not funding exactly what I wanted, I wandered into iDeal floors. They have a lot of close-out material, which is really nice, as it saves a ton of money. I initially picked a natural acacia engineered hardwood on close out. I worked with Ken who came out and measured, and gave an initial estimate, it wad significantly lower than the competition. This was on a Saturday, and Ken said his team could be out on Monday to install--fantastic!Then, right as I was about to sign, I had a change of heart, and wanted a darker , stained version. Ken took it in stride, looked up the new material, and said he had to get it from another warehouse, so it would add a day. Not a problem at all--that's still so much better than some stores which were saying it could take up to 3 weeks!!!Tuesday the guys come out, they are super friendly, and radiate competence and dependability. They remove the existing floors, clean the space, and start leveling--when they hit a snag--floors are both really off level, AND they needed to be moisture sealed. The installers were really honest and really took a lot of time to show me the problems, so I didn't have to take their word for it. Eventually they worked it out so that they could complete the job, getting in their moisture guy to find a moisture barrier glue, and extra leveling. While it did cost more than we initially expected, they took the time to explain why, they also worked with me on the amount, and ultimately came in comparable to the quotes from other stores--which didn't include a moisture barrier or extra leveling.The floors are so beautiful, feel super level and the finishes and transitions are lovely. They also repaired a transition from my living room to the kitchen, which the previous owner had done incorrectly.”

We hired Cox's Fine Floors to replace existing ceramic tile flooring in our new house with hardwood flooring. We met with Randy and Gary on two separate occasions and they thoroughly explained the hardwood flooring options, advantages/disadvantages of each, and answered our many questions. As part of the install, they had to demolish and remove +/- 3,000 sf of ceramic tile flooring. Their crew was prompt and hung plastic in all areas to minimize the dust. Randy checked-in on a regular basis (as this job took several weeks from beginning to end) and was responsive to any concerns I had along the way. The end result was nothing short of amazing and the job they did to customize the foyer with a herringbone pattern was the icing on the cake. We would not hesitate to use Cox's again for any future flooring needs.”
