“These guys were great! We didn't have a huge project but ours was a bit difficult. We bought sculpted, high quality carpet for the 2nd floor hall and bedroom, and also the stairways on 2 floors. The stairs were cut and bound in the traditional way with oak flooring showing on either side from underneath. The father and son subcontractors they always use did a great job and finished up in 2 days with meticulous care.”

“I found Chris very efficient and professional. He did a wonderful job for us: the carpet in my husband's office was stretched; the task was difficult because 1. the costum furniture was built on top of the carpet and could not be moved and 2. the floor underneath the carpet is concrete. Once he was done, as an afterthought, I showed him an area on the bedroom's carpet that he offered to fix right away without asking payment for it.”

“Michael Osborn, of Start to Finish Hardwood Floors, is the only person I would ever hire to do my floors. His work is above and beyond top quality and craftsmanship. His attention to detail, knowledge of hardwood and work ethic is something I honestly have to say is not found often today with contractors and we have hired many in our remodel. He is a third generation craftsman that also teaches his craft at technical schools. I hired Michael to refinish several rooms as well as lay a new floor in our historic home many years ago, so when we started our recent remodel on our new home I knew who to call. Michael laid a new, custom, red oak floor in the house and wove it in, to match existing floors in the kitchen and dining area seamlessly.
