“Ilya Remolding sent three workmen to convert our screen- in porch to a sunroom and spent about a week and half putting together Sheetrock, drywall and new window installation, hard wood flooring and getting inspection and approval from local county. They even secured the base of the sunroom by putting additional support. The guys weee punctual as we were told- same at 8 every day. Our sunroom came out bright and beautiful.The manager was very communicative and even bought materials for us. I thought they were more professional than other contractors. We will use them for other projects in the summer.”

“Great communication. Knowledgeable. Nice crew to work with. I had them on a major renovation of an old farmhouse. Floors were leveled. Major beams were installed. Complete replacement of electric service. Addition built. Entire inside of the house reframed and converted from double to single family home. Bill Shafer handled everything from permits and inspections to ordering and coordinating with all of the other trades. The site is not an easy one to work on with tight access and challenging location. Everyone that came to the project handled it well and did great work. This was the first project that I worked with Bill on. I made a lot of changes along the way and they rolled with me no problem. This house literally had some amount of everything done to it. Nothing about this house was straight or plumb or level. Everything had to be fit and worked into the old structure. They handled it with ease. The guys are very experienced and fast and talented. It has been a pleasure to have them on the job. Good guys, good work! Thanks.”

“Over seven years, we have used Axtell Construction for a complete kitchen remodel, replacement of all windows in our home, and a new roof. The roof required complete stripping of the old shingles and replacement of 11 sheets of plywood. In addition, Axtell replaced the fascia all around the house. I have always been 100% satisfied with their work in general, their attention to detail, the quality of their materials and the finish work on each job. Their prices are fair. If I had a building project to do today, I would call them first. The price below is for the roofing job.”

“My husband and I first met Frank and Kevin in 2003. Little did we realize it would become a ten (10) year working relationship and friendship. We have lost track of how many jobs they have done for us over the years, but here are a few: 10x12 Foyer Extension with Cathedral Ceiling (won Pocono Builders Association 2004 Builders Award for Additions - Residential under $50,000); Handicapped Master Bathroom and installed new floor and ceiling; paneled Great Room ceiling adding multiple framed beams; installed track lighting system in the kitchen area; added 12x12 screened in room; add a portico entrance and ramp; installed new roof with ice and snow barrier; winterized the screened in porch and added a Heat/Air Pump System; installed a 1/2 bathroom; added an interior doorway between the garage and workshop for easier access in the winter months; and the list goes on.

For the Approximate Project Date I am inserting the last project which was the Winterizing of the Screened in Room.

“I had a roof leak that went from the third and all the way down to the second floor. These guys are really good. They not only did my drywall but even was able to get rid of mold that was in one of the walls. One of the gentleman who I believe was the boss used my bathroom not only gave me a quote on hand but started the job fast. Despite the banging and powertools this crew did a good job. I’d definitely recommend them.”
