“Mike did a whole house window replacement for us. He is knowledgeable, and was very responsive from beginning of the project to final finishing. I can tell he has been in this business for long time and has real hands on experience. It was a major project or us, so we had many questions, and we just asked him. I highly recommend him, as he really knows all aspects of general contacting work, from sales, permits, planning, and to actual installation. His price is very reasonable, and we are very satisfied with the end result.”

“I highly recommend the California Building and Remodeling Company. We are VERY happy with their work all the way. I feel fortunate to have met Philip Geunther, the owner and founder of the company. He is quite skilled with people, and with coordinating teams of workers on a project. The contract was a reasonable price, in fact very inexpensive because he came often to check on the work and improved the work when needed by discussing the plan several times with his team to give us the maximum best result. I will call Phil in the future for other jobs with no hesitation because this has been an outstanding experience for my family. What did they do for us? My mother is close to age 95 and had a stroke, and is wheelchair bound. Phil and his team remodeled our old bathroom into a larger shower that is designed for wheelchairs. The shower is a "roll-in" shower compliant with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. We are so happy!! Thank you Phil. I recommend their work for any ADA project. They know what they are doing.”

“I have hired Bruce Boswell twice: first when I bought a complete fixer home in order to make it habitable and then, ten years later, when I wanted to do a significant remodel. That should say something - the second time around I did not feel the need to shop around. I have nothing but good things to say - costs and timing were laid out clearly before the start of the project and any variances were due to changes at my request. No surprises. He is a thorough and upfront communicator, he listens well to his clients' needs and he gets things done correctly. He did an outstanding job at sourcing items that were part of the architect's design but were not off the shelf items. Though I'm not sure I'd live in the house during a project like this again, he and his crew went out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible during a major, structural, three month project.”
