“Thank you for a fantastic kitchen installation. Too big of a job for me to juggle subcontractors and I feel fortunate to have found Kling Brothers. Your cabinet installer/carpenter and all of your subs did fantastic work. There was an amazing attention to detail from day one. This is our “forever” home and we will spend many years admiring our new kitchen.”

“Shortly before my wife and I went to Florida for five months, we contacted Tom Prete of TRP Construction to get an estimate for transforming several rooms, in our 5- bedroom colonial, into a downstairs master bedroom complete with full walk- in bath (actually a wheel in shower as my wife is in a wheel chair) with ample closet space, new flooring, etc. In addition, we wanted to convert one upstairs bedroom into an office with plenty of shelf space. Tom gave us an estimate which I considered very reasonable and, in light of that and the glowing report we had from our daughter about Tom’s work (a full apartment over her garage), we gave him the go ahead. The key, however, was that we wanted the work completed while we were away and that we would rely on his judgement to make a lot of decisions. The upshot was the that the quality of the work was excellent and the project was finished on time and within budget. The results were much better than if we had made all the myriad decisions ourselves. Tom and his staff selected the wall colors in all rooms, hardware for doors and cabinetry, window treatment, handicapped hardware and more. The only major decision we had to make was the color of the carpeting for the new master bedroom! To say we were pleased with the outcome of this work would be an understatement. Tom cared more about our job that we did… and we cared! Top that all off with the fact that Tom and his staff couldn’t have been nicer. If they said something was going to be done, it was done. He was always reachable and his personality was as good as his work. Pam & Buck Wilson Guilford, Connecticut”

“I was completely clueless when I was looking into renovating my apartment, so I did a lot of research initially. I might have gone overboard but I think I got 5 or 6 estimates from as many different companies. I received my quote from Plinio Design Corp at the beginning of April 2022, and I signed a contract with PDC around mid to late April. PDC was not the most expensive nor was it the cheapest; I thought PDC's prices were fair and it included a lot of things so that I didn't have to worry about continuously paying out of pocket for things and surprise add-ons (we've all heard the horror stories). After getting approval from my co-op, the work started at the beginning of May. I was quoted a 7-week estimate; the job was done around mid to late October 2022. Here is a list of the work that was done: 1. Demolition: This involved removing old flooring, old cabinets, old appliances, old blinds, light fixtures, old closet doors, a gigantic mirror that was hanging on the living room (very 80s?). 2. Flooring replacement. Old flooring was removed; new laminate wood flooring was installed in the majority of the apartment, and I chose tile for the kitchen and bathroom floors. 3. Kitchen renovation. A wall was partially removed. An induction stove was installed, which involved an electrician due to the extra electrical capacity required by that. I got new cabinets, countertop, backsplash, and a new light fixture. 4. Bathroom renovation. As with the kitchen, I got the works: a new tub, new tiles, new light fixture, new vanity, new toilet, new door, an electrical outlet because there was previously no outlet. 5. Painting. I got everything repainted, including the ceiling. 6. I got radiator covers made as the radiators are painted over and gross-looking. 7. They were also nice enough to install my closet, some curtain rods, blinds, a dish drying rack, and a coat hook. I had lots of questions throughout the process, and I found that PDC was overall pretty good about responding. There were times when I didn't get a response back to emails or texts but that was not frequent, and I knew I could eventually get an answer via phone call. Sometimes there was a language barrier when I spoke with Plinio but there was always someone who could translate, whether it was his son or his assistant. There weren't too many miscommunications but the one that jumps out is I had asked for an accent wall in the living room but all the walls ended up being painted. I decided to keep the walls because the color looked so nice - a happy mistake! They also coordinated with my co-op's management so I didn't have to worry about that. I haven't fully moved into my apartment yet but visually the apartment came out well. Everything looks well done, and they addressed my remaining concerns at the final walk-through. I highly recommend Plinio Design Corp. Plinio is very nice and more importantly, he and his team are honest.”
