“TBS rebuilt our deck, added a screened in porch to the back of the house, and added a porch to the front of the house. They also repaired damage to the basement wall that was discovered during the construction project. TBS completed all the work using high quality material and craftsmanship. The railings on the deck used cabling to provide a clear view of Smith Mountain Lake and were topped with Trex boards to provide a smooth and long lasting surface. The back porch has provided a new and dramatic living area to the house; featuring a panoramic view of the lake and a soaring cathedral ceiling. Our neighbor commented that she had "porch envy" after spending some time on it. The front porch has given the house a much improved appearance and a much friendlier entrance to the house. This is the second project that TBS has completed for us, and they can be counted on for being easy to work with and for providing a high quality and funcional product.”

I found them to be very professional, very prompt, very clean, and easy to work with. He has the best of the best in people he contracts to do the speciality jobs. I highly recommend Chris and his company. We have had many compliments on his work. We were always kept up to date on the costs and timeline for the job.”

“I worked with Pat Hennis (and his dog Lucky) of Phoenix Construction on a once-in-a-lifetime job in Western Virginia. The house is a hunting/fishing retreat, and incorporated a 65' by 26' relocated historic log barn as its core. We had fun on this project, and everyone, from the Owner down to the laborer, was a team player. Pat used his skills in dealing with the idiosyncrasies of antique log construction, and made some remarkable suggestions when the pieces wouldn't fit 'just right'. I highly recommend Phoenix for construction and project management.”

“Major master bathroom remodel. Removed garden tub & neo-angle shower. Replaced with shower ( w/seat & grab bars). Moved toilet to better location. Moved wall that jutted out in old bathroom. Contractor listened to all our ideas & made valuable suggestions. Bathroom looks great, functions better & we have more storage. Work was also done on our Master Bedroom & closet. Work was completed within a few days of estimated completion time. Would recommend this contractor.”

“I used the services of Donnie Linkous with New Century Builders for a recent repair to the ceiling in my garage that was damaged due to a water leak. When selecting a contractor, I look for someone who will do the work at a fair price, do quality work, and will be responsive in communications when planning and executing the project. I can say that Donnie met all of my expectations in regards to these 3 criteria. I've had some very negative experiences with other contractors in the past, so I was very pleased to find New Century Builders for this project and will certainly consider them for any future projects.”
