“So, I don't actually own this home anymore. but I have been spending a lot of time on Houzz looking for ideas for my current home, and wanted to give credit. Frank and his crew re-finished the original hardwood floors in our 1957 ranch in 2010. The floors had carpet over when we bought the house and there had been many pet stains (that carpet was absolutely disgusting). Also, we had this a couple little half walls in the living room we wanted taken out....he was able to cut wood from the entry way (where we were putting tile) and use that to repair where the walls came out. He also supplemented with some extra wood in a few spots....absolutely could not tell a difference between the old and the new. They did an amazing job, got rid of all the pet damage and the floors looked wonderful for years (I assume they still do). I haven't lived in the home for 5 years and there were many things I didn't like about it, but I still miss those hardwoods! We also did lots of painting and new light fixtures while the rooms were empty. Please note, Mohawk just did the flooring, we had someone else take out the walls, paint, tile the entry, etc.”
