We also had our windows replaced at the same time and KM accomodated us for which we were grateful. We just love our cabinet with the "garage", a rollaway where we could keep our chargers,papers etc. It really makes our kitchen look so neat. Especially the outlet on the side of our counter where I could easily set up my Kitchen Aid mixer and Cuisinart when needed, instead of lugging them up from other places:). Very happy with their willingness to work with budget and us handle some of demo to save money. Designer knowledge helped out when we were getting overwhelmed with the colors, appliances and cupboards. GM experience can in handy multiple times during demo and while putting things back together with great tweak ideas. They handled all of the admin related situations regarding permits and related inspectors to a point that we didn't even notice this was happening behind the scenes. “We started the process of looking for a home in Wasilla, AK, in the summer of 2016. We looked at many homes and communicated with several builders online. We also made a trip to Wasilla to meet with our realtor and look at properties. She introduced us to Becky and Brian Monaghan. After looking at several possible floor plans that they could build, we found one that we really liked. Becky even invited us to their personal home so that we could see the style and quality of their construction and finishes. They also took us to one of their houses under construction to see their methods and materials. After meeting with the Monaghans and seeing their product we were excited to have them build our new home. They were both a joy to work with. They made sure that our questions were answered and assisted us greatly in the selection of materials and finishes. We were fortunate to be near by during the construction phase and were able to observe the house on an almost daily basis. We were impressed with the quality of work by Brian and his crew as well as his subcontractors. The work was professional as well as prompt. Our home was finished ahead of schedule for the price quoted. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Monaghan Construction to anyone considering home construction in the Wasilla area. “Coordinators Interior Design Group and Elke Gustafson made a bad situation great for us. Our house was flooded and all but one room of the entire house was damaged. The contractor we hired was horrible and along with being out of our home, living in hotels, working and trying to coordinated all the items for the remodel and repair was too much for us to handle. We hired Elke and she came in and took care of everything for us, from dealing with the contractors and making sure the work was done correctly and we were not being charged for work that was not completed, to picking out all of our interior flooring, colors, paint, fixtures and finding deals for us. During this time we also had a rental unit that had to be upgraded and she helped us do that quickly and within our budget. I have no idea what our house would look like if we had not hired her. I would recommend them for any design, upgrade or repair needs you have no matter what your budget it will save you time and money!”
