In 2012, we met Tim at the Philadelphia Home Show, and were impressed by Tim’s portfolio of previous designs and building projects. On his first visit to our home in the Philadelphia suburbs Tim impressed us again with his instant understanding of our home improvement needs. We wanted to build a new bathroom in a little-used space that was attached to our master bedroom, but Tim suggested a much better solution; building an addition to the house’s second floor, and placing the bathroom in it. This way we got a fabulously looking new master bathroom that is an envy of our friends and neighbors, and avoided a mistake of building a bathroom that would be to small and not convenient. Timothy also designed and built for us a mudroom in front of our house, completely redesigned and rebuilt our patio, and changed the siding all around the house. We are very satisfied with the quality of his design and workmanship of his crew. Tim is a very experienced project manager, and he worked hard to accommodate our specific requirements during the project and to adjust all the logistics accordingly. He was able to keep the project deadlines despite very unfavorable weather conditions, the climax of which was Hurricane Sandy. During the project we occasionally changed our mind regarding some details (e.g., selection of tiles), and Tim was always ready to either accept our new ideas or, when they were not practical, offer very good alternatives. During the project we developed a trusting, friendly relationship with Timothy and many of his crew members. We were so satisfied with our collaboration with Tim that, after the first big project was completed, we tasked him with a couple of smaller projects in our house (e.g., staircase renovation), and outside (landscaping). We are sure that, with his great artistic taste, his extensive technical experience, and his understanding of individual clients’ characters and preferences, Timothy can exceed expectations of the most demanding clients. “We hired Dremodeling to renovate the kitchen and master bathroom of our home, an 88 year old center hall stone house located in Jenkintown, PA. The team displayed professional knowledge and experience throughout the entire project. The concept phase was interactive and bi-directional. It was very easy to visualize the direction and intent of the design, making it easy to be involved and ensure the final plans fit our goals. The team is structured so that each member has a specific role and responsibility with overlap only in areas where individual skills and capabilities allow for it. This manner of doing the work ensured that the results are amazing. Their ability to stay close to budget while also being flexible enough to adjust & adapt the plan is another big plus especially given the 3rd party suppliers that we relied on for kitchen countertops as well as all bathroom appliances and fixtures. These suppliers were recommended by dRemodeling at our request, and all worked out extremely well. There were two situations where factors beyond the control of either dRemodeling or ourselves caused work stoppages; a discovered roof leak and a delay in delivery of the kitchen appliance. In both cases dRemodeling showed top notch professionalism and flexibility. By redeploying the team to other job sites during the delay, we were able to avoid any additional delays once the issues were resolved. We are now two months past the completion of the project and I can still say that we are extremely happy with the results and would not hesitate to call dRemodeling again - either with questions about the existing work, or to hire and do business with again. We would also recommend them to friends and family.”
