“My husband and I hired Ben Greenberg, owner of Maru-Arch for a possible renovation of our kitchen, master bath, and an addition of a full bath for a child's bedroom. We had never worked with an architect before, and were unsure how the process works. However, we were immediately calmed by his website's thorough explanation of what to expect when hiring an architect, and upon meeting him we knew that Ben understood our vision. We met with Maru-Arch (Ben Greenberg) several times throughout the planning stages of the design, discussing everything from budget, to layout, to personal style. He was honest in what could practically be implemented and what might be a budgetary concern, and was helpful in suggesting alternative solutions if the current design conflicted with the existing house and budgetary limits. The best thing I can say about our experience with Ben, is his responsiveness. Any time I sent an email asking for a change to the design, or a question about layout, I was emailed back within the day.. sometimes even the hour. I always felt like he understood how important the project was to us. Ben was upfront about the cost of the different phases of the project, starting with his fees and the services he provides. For our project we met several times, went through many stages of drawings with revisions, and ultimately submitted his drawings to local contractors who submitted bids for the job. Because of the thorough experience in hiring an architect, we were able to see the pros and cons of renovating vs moving into another house.. and ultimately we decided to move, instead. But without the help of working with Ben and seeing the real cost of a renovation, we would have never known the best choice for our family. And if we ever want to renovate another House, the first person we would call, would be Maru-Arch. No matter how big or small of a project, he will understand your vision and will work tirelessly until the dream you saw in your mind is staring back at you in the form of an architectural drawing.”

“The quality of the work was excellent. While the project is just over a year old it held up well over the first year which was a very harsh winter. The materials were not traditional deck materials yet the installation was well done and time was taken to properly learn how to install it.”

“Mark did a great job designing our home. If you want a cookie cutter house he is not the one to see. But if you want a unique home that has character Mark is the one of the best. I have had many people who have been to our home who have said WOW I love you living room and master bedroom how did you come up with these designs. Now he doesn't come cheap but I think in the end he was worth every penny. Also during the construction process he stopped by to be sure that the framers were laying everything out properly which was good because he caught a couple mistakes during the framing process.”

“Matt Myers who ownes Myers Construction is fantastic! He and his co-workers do an excellent, professional and clean job! They built us a 900 sq. ft. vinyl deck with two octagons, as well as designing a stainless steel cooler built into one of the octagons for beverages and refreshments! He had lots of ideas and made them happen. The stainless cooler can also double as a planter if I desire! He also built us a custom, rolling, table with a stainless insert for beverages and/or planter to match in the same deck material. Overall... I cannot say enough about his expertise and the professional way he and his workers conducted themselves. They were fast and kept an extremely clean work environment. Well DONE Matt Myers and crew! He always gave us ideas that helped us expand on our basic ideas, and when my husband and I couldn't agree on something he was always quick to come up with a solution.
