“We contacted Corado (owner) of Abretti Painting and Renovations to come and give us a quote for painting most of our first floor (2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, main hallway and foyer with a 15 foot ceiling above a stairway to the basement, about 1500 square feet of floor space.) When we first met him we were impressed with his professionalism and he explained his processes and how it would work. To be honest, his quote was the most expensive of the three that we received, by about $200. (We received 3 quotes in total). Despite the higher cost, Abretti Painting and Reno met all the requirements that we wanted in our painting job. They use Benjamin Moore paint as standard, they repaired and repatched the wall imperfections (including the trim my puppies nawed on). Part of their process is to "exfoliate the walls" using a blade to remove the existing orange peel. I never heard of anyone doing this so I was intrigued. It makes a tremendous difference. In between signing the contract to paint and him starting, our basement flooded (sump pump gave out on us). So since we already had Abretti coming in to do the painting we inquired about the basement. Most of our basement is unfinished, but we do have 2 bedrooms there that are almost finished (no floors but finished walls and ceiling.) Abretti gave us a very reasonable quote for replacing the bottom 25 inches of drywall in all the rooms and the basement hallway, plus painting all the rooms and new trim. Our house looks fantastic now. Honestly the quality of the paint job is terrific. We chose a very vibrant red for our living room and I know they had to do a minimum of 5 coats + primer to get it down, and it is flawless. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat.”
