“We have been very pleased with the addition/ kitchen remodel Distinctive Design/Build/Remodel completed for us. We outgrew our previous kitchen space and I had been frustrated with many aspects of the kitchen design. Vince and Erin listened to the challenges we had in our old space and came up with a design that has worked out as we had hoped for our new space. I love my kitchen again and we really enjoy our additional sunroom and mudroom space. The flow and ample storage areas work out well for our large family. All of the team, including subcontractors, were polite and safety conscious which was important with 4 children from 4 to 12 around the home. We were kept up to date regarding progress and all concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The remodel took a little bit longer than expected, and we were a little naive about the energy it took to move items within our house and live with upheaval for a time, however the results were well worth it!!!”

“My wife and I purchased a home on Lake Norman 14 years ago knowing that one day we would turn it into something special. Over the course of owning the home we did a few little projects like remodeled the pool, resurfaced the docks, added a screen porch, built an outdoor kitchen and bar, etc. When we finally got serious about doing our inside remodel we called Mike Shalvoy with Patrick Joseph Destinctive Homes. I meet Mike through a mutual friend that used Mike and his team to build their house. After meeting with Mike a couple times we felt like he understood our vision, goals and budget. Seven months later we couldn't be more happy with the results. We completely gutted the inside of our home down to the studs. We took out walls to open the floor plan, raised ceilings and created a huge kitchen and entertaining area. All new water lines, electrical, insulation, sheet rock, doors and the list goes on. We have a completely new home on the inside that looks amazing.”

“I am very excited to share the experience I had while working with Inna as she inspired me to remodel my kitchen with a fresh, new feel. My husband and I have wanted to renovate the kitchen since we bought our home, and Inna has helped turn that desire into a vision. She has developed a wonderful new plan to increase our working space while also allowing for better flow between the kitchen and eating areas, even though our space is limited. We love her eye for detail, especially the backsplash recommendation with pops of light blue. Inna has provided us with not only a wonderful design, but one that is affordable and fits our budget. She has been nothing but amazing to work with throughout the process.”

“Brian McClellan went above and beyond in his work for me! He remodeled my bedroom and everything was top-notch. Custom design & carpentry, custom ceiling with custom carpentry and glitter finish, vintage-looking custom headboard, and hand-carved door! I couldn't believe how he utilized such little space I had and somehow managed to make my closet bigger (and customize it) while not subtracting substantial space in my bedroom. I cannot express my satisfaction enough. In fact, I was beyond satisfied. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian & Carolina Fine Carpentry to anyone. You will not be disappointed, you will be impressed!”
