“We had a complicated large window repair that involved a rotten timber that had been improperly flashed. The architect for HH spent over an hour conferring with three of his carpenters before giving us an estimate. We also needed two rotted window seats repaired which we all assumed would be more straightforward. Thankfully, they found a way to replace the rotted beam in the larger window but the two smaller windows were found to have been so poorly installed that much of the siding and insulation had to be pulled out and repaired. HH Construction completed the job in a timely manner and within estimated cost. I especially like that the owner employs skilled and experienced workers and communicates with them respectfully so that there seems to be good collaboration and communication.”

“We hired Scott Dreyer to install hardwood floors in our master bedroom and great room, custom build bookcases on both sides of our great room fireplace, and add stacked stone to the sides of the fireplace chase as well as a new mantel to match the bookcases. He worked closely with our contractor we hired who would later install a flat screen TV above the fireplace mantel. Scott was very knowledgable and helpful during the design of the bookcases and sensitive to our wants and needs. All his subs were excellent. They were courteous, professional and always cleaned up their work area each day. Scott stayed completely involved during the whole project, both in person and by phone and text. We would hire him again for another project. He orchestrated the subs well and met the contract deadlines. We are so pleased with the end results of our project. “I recently needed to have a 42” culvert under my driveway replaced. Because a creek ran through the culvert, additional creek bank reinforcement and redirection of the creek was also involved. Concrete ends were in place around the existing, rusting culvert, and required chiseling out to allow the new culvert pipe to fit back in place. This was a big job as far as residential culvert replacements go, and finding a suitable and trustworthy contractor was very frustrating until a friend recommended Ronnie Spillman and Carter Johnson. Because I was worried about the job and working with a tight budget, they came to my place several times to talk over the job with me. They were patient and knowledgeable. When it came time to do the work, they showed up on time, worked hard, and went over and above what I asked them to do. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work, their attitude, and their reasonable price, and I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly. They’re qualified to handle any manner of home construction or repair issues—excavation, sewer lines, home construction, etc. They recently poured a new concrete driveway for a friend, and filled in her in-ground swimming pool to allow for a garden spot. These guys have been around for a long time, and they value their good name and reputation. Give them a call. They’ll treat you fairly and do a good job”
