We received several quotes for our extensive renovation and while M & D’s pricing was very reasonable, it was Mike who ultimately made us feel that this was the right company for us. From our very first meeting, Mike was knowledgeable, understanding, thorough and kind. He listened carefully to what we wanted, offered thoughtful advice and always made us feel that our home was in the very best hands. The scope of our renovation was extensive. Walls were removed and straightened, popcorn ceilings were taken down, our old fireplace was removed and a new one installed and we had a completely new kitchen, dining room built in, wet bar built in, new hardwood floors, pot lights, painting throughout the entire house and new doors. It was a huge project, particularly in an older home and we could not be happier with the result. The quality of the craftsmanship was absolutely outstanding. The crew, led by Michael, was professional, skilled, friendly, respectful and incredibly clean. They took great pride in their work and treated our home as if it were their own. One thing that stood out to us throughout the entire renovation was the communication. We did not live in the house during the project, yet we communicated with Mike almost every day. We were always kept informed about the progress, upcoming work and any decisions that needed to be made. Whenever an issue arose. as can happen with any older home, Mike approached it calmly, honestly and professionally and worked with us to find the best solution. Our project was completed on time and on budget. The only increases to the original cost were the result of changes we chose to make or unforeseen issues that came up because of the age of the house. There were absolutely no surprises or concerns about the way the project was managed. We have already highly recommended M & D Buildings to our family and friends and we will continue to do so with complete confidence and conviction. Finding a contractor you can genuinely trust with a major renovation is not easy and we feel incredibly fortunate that we found Mike and his team. “Hired Easy Renovation for a full bathroom remodel on one of my rental properties floor tiles, wall tiles, plumbing, electrical, vanity, the works and they wrapped everything up in under a week. The tile work is clean, the fixtures look sharp and modern, and the whole project came in exactly at the estimated price with zero surprises.
