I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.

Out of this world experience! My wife and I decided to build from scratch a new kitchen in the Home we just purchased in san Francisco. This could have been daunting and very stressful. And yet, from beginning to end, the project went smooth, on budget, on time, and with an extra touch of personal commitment. Jen (from EuroLuxe) helped us design the kitchen, select the materials (stone color, texture of panels, ...), pick the right appliances, plan the installation, coordinate with contractors, and keep on following up with us even after the project was completed. The team is insanely responsive (any text/mail was answered within the hour), super professional, great attention to details, ... and our kitchen space looks INCREDIBLE! If I could assign a sixth or seventh star, I would in a heartbeat :-)

Tracy was wonderful with our remodel. When we first started we were overwhelmed by the various styles, colors, brands, etc and didn't know where to start. Tracy was very patient and spent a good amount of time trying to understand our needs and wants for our new remodel. Tracy was recommended to us originally for kitchen cabinets but not only did she do a wonderful job at helping us design our kitchen, she became a great one stop shopping source taking all the brands and styles we wanted and helping us order everything for the kitchen, bath, tile and even window coverings. Tracy is very detail oriented and followed through with each part of the project install after purchase. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great remodeling experience.

My husband and I initially hired Gita Jacobson from “in the details” for complete renovations of the kitchen Gita is a great communicator, listens to client’s needs, is responsive and manages projects with great efficiency. She is extremely creative and was an absolute joy to work with her. Gita’s guidance brought a new ideas to my color/materials preferences and gave me confidence to break out of the expected. Her creative solutions turned problems into unique finishing touches: for example, using two different type of tiles for back-splash and chasing the correct counter top. During the renovation, she came by the house when we needed her advice and she was on time we met to look at materials off site. Gita was professional but also a source of creative details of our kitchen.

How wonderful to have a decorator who does not provide cookie-cutter designs. She looked at our home, listened to who we are and what we wanted and provided us with choices. From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.

I hired this firm for a very unique job which turned out above my expectations. Ms. Adkins is an outstanding consultant and provided me with options that I did not know about which is a much more professional approach than some of the more "off-the-shelf" companies that I had dealt with in the past. The color choices, materials, and craftsmanship gave my home a much more rich, attractive, and unique look than I have seen anywhere else. I highly recommend this firm.

Melina helped me with a kitchen remodel, and then with a much more extensive house remodel. She is a great collaborator -- she knew when I was feeling overwhelmed and needed clear guidance and narrowed-down options, but she was also incredibly receptive to suggestions and intuitive about what I was trying to achieve. In my kitchen, for example, I wanted something that felt Tuscan and modern at the same time -- we mixed stone tile with glass, terra cotta flooring, stainless steel appliances, and countertops with clean, chunky edges. In the end, my kitchen feels both old and new, and both expansive and cozy -- which is just what I was trying to accomplish. Melina has both extensive design and architectural experience, so she really understands how a space will work, and she works really well with contractors to achieve design goals that are also practical. Plus, she is a lovely person with whom it is a pleasure to spend time. I wouldn't use another decorator on one of my own projects, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.

Sue worked closely with us to create a design for our kitchen remodel that met our needs and preferences. She took the time to get to know us, understand our priorities and how we would use the space. Her knowledge of good kitchen design and collaborative working relationships with other professionals helped us select the products and finishes that would work best for us. She guided us through the process skilfully to help reduce uncertainty and keep our project on track and on budget. Our physical space was limited and Sue helped us think outside the box to make the most of it. Project is in progress, but will gladly post photos in a few weeks when complete.
