“We recently had a pergola built, and stamped concrete and landscaping installed, by Jovak and we are very pleased with the end result! After we talked with John about how we would like to improve the functionality and privacy of our back yard, while tying it in with our existing landscaping, John presented us with a great design. He was very knowledgable about the products he would use, and presented an estimate of cost that seemed reasonable. His employees were efficient and respectful, and the work was done in a timely fashion. They accommodated a few changes and additions we made along the way, and even after the job was done. John went through an inspection with us prior to final payment. The finished product exceeded our expectations, yet stayed within the budget. We would recommend, and have recommended, Jovak Landscape & Design without hesitation to anyone who is looking for an honest, reliable and talented landscaper.”

“CC leveled and put paving stones on my rear deck area. They were punctual, respectful, friendly and worked very hard. They used a creative idea on the stairs that is my favourite feature. There have been no sinking nor shifting of the stones. There are a couple minor angle issues which kept me from giving 5 stars. I have recommended these guys and will continue to do so; not for their low prices, but for the quality of my experience with them..”

“Blue Bear Landscape Concstruction (Mike Koch) has transformed a problem spot in our garden into a fascinating meditation garden with a contemporary water feature and a careful selection of plants, rocks, and driftwood. This job included the construction of a small rock wall and the installation of feature lights. There is always something blooming yet at the same time it is low maintenance. We are often observing different birds and squirrels that visit the water fountain or the flowers. Mike was pleasant to have around. He is a hardworking fellow who completed the job on time and on budget. We appreciated his design skills to create such an enjoyable tranquil spot. Mike's work does not only look good on the surface, he knows how to build solidly underneath to make things last. We are planning to hire Mike again to re-design our front yard and entrance area. I recommend Mike's work to my friends and family.”

“We chose Nicholson Landscaping over other competitors for a number of reasons. First and foremost was Mr. Nicholson's ability to really listen to our needs and ideas. From the design stage right through to project completion, he was always in communication with us. There were never any unwelcome "surprises" as the job progressed. Of course, the actual cost of the job was important. We had a budget, and Mr. Nicholson was respectful of it. He provided us with various options to stay within the budget, without compromising the quality or appearance of the work. Most importantly, his estimates were accurate. Any extra work was always explained and approved by the customer in writing, before commencement. None of this would mean a thing without the necessary skills to bring a project to fruition. Mr. Nicholson has an extensive background and is trained in all disciplines related to landscaping. He knows equipment, materials and the methodology to select what works. Very few of his competitors gave us any confidence in this regard, so it was a pleasure to relax and let him and his crew transform our property. In the end, the finished project more than met our expectations. The budget was reasonably maintained, the level of workmanship consistently high, and the client / contractor relationship was always amiable. Highly and most enthusiastically recommended!”

“We were so pleased about the finished job Anne did at our church that we had her come to our home to help us design a new garden after I had removed a 40 foot dying tree. Anne and her assistant visited our home and spent a couple of hours getting to know us as gardeners and seeking our input into the garden. She sent us her proposal on e-mail and we had her proceed. Her company was here at the appointed time and everything was completed quickly and the result has continued to please us three years later. When the replacement tree was not thriving Anne saw that it was replaced and put into our rear garden "just in case". Both trees are thriving!”
