“Chris worked on a wide variety of projects around our house including extensive external trim, which he finished beautifully. He also installed replacement doors and windows in a couple drafty locations, at a price far below the quote I received from a national window company. Chris was here when he said he would be, communicated clearly and charged us a fair price. I would highly recommend Chris for any professional carpentry job.”

“I highly recommend Greater Portland Renovations. Originally, they did a rot repair job for us. Moisture got in under or front door and caused rot. They arrived to do the work on the scheduled day at the time promised. Even though the rot spread a bit further than expected, the cost remained within the estimated range. I was so impressed with the integrity of the company and kindness of the workers, that I also decided to hire them to install new hardwood floors in our home. As they were doing the job, they came across more rot under the back door, which we had no idea about. They took everything in stride. They repaired the issue right away, and charged us a reasonable amount to repair it. Our old floors were both glued and nailed down with a nail about every half inch of flooring. This was by means no easy job. They still managed to finish the job quickly, as they knew we were trying to sell our home. The floors were installed perfectly, and look amazing. I would recommend Greater Portland Renovations to ANYONE!!!”

We feel very fortunate to have found them. They were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and hard-working. They kept us informed every step of the way, kept the worksite cleaned up every day, worked to keep costs down and finished in a timely manner. The work is impeccable! Again, the work is impeccable!! Jim has a gift of vision and artistry and he was able to marry the old structure and new together beautifully. We are constantly complimented on our property and we have Jim Parandes to thank for it. “I had a fire in my home and much of the kitchen was damaged, we experience a grease fire. He came out to my home examined the damage, was extremely helpful in what would work for a design/colors that would make it to be my home. Unfortunately we did not hire him, but we are now looking to building a new home and once we decide on a plot of land, more than likely will be contacting him.”

“I hired Petrone Construction several times during the past 4 years. The latest project was a 37 by 12 foot deck, with a 4 foot railing. Petrone Construction also did the deck design. Ron Petrone did a superb job in meeting our families needs: He did research on finding the best price on a sustainable hardwood and created a beautiful deck for our family of 7; including an outdoor shower, a covered area and built ins for planters. We spent the entire summer on the deck! Petrone Construction also built us a 1000 square foot addition, 3 stories high. It includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a cathedral ceiling, a built in window seat and french doors leading out to our deck. The master bathroom has a large walk in shower, with a custom made, walk in closet, complete with multiple drawers and hanging spaces. Although we provided Ron with blueprints, created by an architect, he was open to changing the design as the project progressed. Although that cost us more money it was worth it. We are so happy with our addition! Petrone Construction has been a real pleasure to work with. They provided excellent customer service in that they returned calls in a timely manner, were consisitently respectful and always on time. They even cleaned up after themselves!”
