“Green Trade Contracting did a total rennovation of the main downstairs bathroom in our 1901 home. Keeping with the historical period was important to us as was using state of the art water saving technology. Steve Green, the owner, recommended removal of all of the knob and tube electrical replacing it with 21st century technology. He also thought it best to remove all the plaster and lathe instead of trying to repair it and replaced it with drywall etc. It was because of a leak we discovered in the walls that we decided to proceed with the rennovation, it was not totally done just for aesthetics, but they were an important aspect of the job. We had the project done when we were out of town on vacation with no worries or issues of trust. We came home to a completely renovated and beautifl new bathroom that looks as if it was preserved from back when the bathroom was first installed.”

After interviewing six different builders, you clearly stood out as someone who not only had the knowledge and ability to complete the project, but also as someone who cares. We would like to take a few moments to offer some details on our experience. You and staff were very pleasant to work with from start to finish. Many questions were asked to ensure that you understood our project goals. Your staff would arrive between 9:00 – 9:30 every morning. Work was completed within the time frame we had projected. We appreciated your regular visits to our home to ensure we were always moving forward. With our demanding work schedules, we were appreciative of how we could email back and forth to clarify details or authorize any change orders. There were times when we needed to meet with you in person or take a phone call, and you came through on every occasion. “This is a lovely company full of hard workers and great people. The owner truly has an eye for what will work and what will not work, which was not easy with my old house! This company turned my unfinished attic into a spare bedroom and turned my duplex home into a single family home, with a beautiful bathroom, bedroom, and large den/office. They worked 6 days a week to get it done and did it under budget. They had to knock down several walls to get it done and it turned into my dream home!
