They've done tens of thousands of dollars worth of work for us and we'd hire them again to do the same in a heartbeat. The post sale support is outstanding. They do their own extensive inspection and punch list so the homeowner doesn't have another set of issues to deal while closing and moving into a new home, and their warranty support is a huge value and provides great peace of mind. Scott really puts his customer's best interest first and is exceptionally accomodating in working with the customer's architect. His subs are first rate and he clearly has the best subs in the area on his team. I highly recommend you meet with Scott if you're building an executive bracket home or are considering a remodeling project in your existing home. This included all new hardwood floors, new fireplace, removal of walls/cabinets, and complete renovation of the stairs along with various painting and upgrades to hardware throughout. “First of all, my bathroom looks amazing. Very modern and way more comfortable than before. They gave us an estimate and designs for free before we committed to anything. Scott even told us which materials would be cheaper to buy on our own so we could stay in our budget. The installers were friendly and answered all the questions we had that popped up over the project. They came on time and worked hard and they cleaned up every day so it was safe for our kids. We only have one bathroom, so they reinstalled the toilet before they were done with the floor we could still use the bathroom that night. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this company.”

“Artisans is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Long Custom Homes. They design and construct while paying attention to detail and watching that dollar. Dave Long and his sons are professional and hard working. We are thankful they are the ones who brought our circa 1850 home back to life. A family bath was added upstairs with heated floors, custom double vanity, window seat storage, marble inlay tile on floor and in shower and hidden door to large walkin closet. An attic was renovated into a spacious master bedroom and 3 skylights were added. The dining room, laundry/pantry and up and downstairs hallways were all completely gutted and refurbished (lots of Plaster and Plath ripped out) A direct vent fireplace as added. Original floors were reused. We had a chimney torn out, brick by brick and HVac installed. Old radiators were removed. The Longs had subcontractors lined up and ready to go with our schedule. I don't remember any delays. This was a very long involved remodel and they kept work going the entire 6 months. Our home is a true show place... inviting and relaxing.”
