“Our boat house back wall was caving in. We hired Washa Construction to replace the wooden wall with concrete block. Since the driveway is quite a distance from the lake, there was a lot of manual work hauling dirt from the boat house to the dumpster and concrete block and cement to the boat house. They also had to build temporary walls to support the roof during the construction project. The guys did this during the hotest part of the summer. The job turned out great! We've used Washa Contruction before and have been very satisfied with the professionalism and craftsmanship of the workers. We'd highly recommend them.”

“SCS Building & Remodeling was hired to remodel our kitchen some 10 years ago and did an amazing job. Due to the quality of Brent's work we referred to others who also hired him. This past year, we hired Brent and his crew to install new windows. The window labor came in under what Brent had bid so we showed him some drywall work that we needed done and 4 trips later the drywall was repaired at no additional cost. SCS Building & Remodeling is always our first choice when hiring work to be done in our home. Trustworthy, professional, honest, and friendly!!”

“Most people call a construction company for all the best reasons. You save up and plan to build a new house, redo a few rooms or add on a porch. But when a tragic event occurs there is no time to save or plan. That is what happened to our family. We woke up one morning to find not only our house but our garage as well were completely damaged. They both would need to be completely resided. After calling a few different places and getting bids I was a mess and was giving up hope of finding a good company to work with. Then a friend recommended AF Construction. Adam took the time to explain everything to me. He was empathetic and kind to my family. When he saw how upset I was when I found out the same color siding was not an option he made time to stop over with lots of samples. He sat with my kids and I until we could all agree on the new color. From the first day he arrived to look at the damage until the day they cleaned up all their supplies Adam and Travis went above and beyond what expected. At that point any other construction company would have taken their final payment and never looked back. But not Adam ! He called a few weeks later to check on how we were doing. How many companies go the extra mile like that ?”

Pat Whitty of Whitty and Sons Construction was by far the most personable and professional out of those we met with. We quickly received a clear and comprehensive quote from him. Approximately one week later, we asked to modify the quote so it could better meet our modest budget. We met in person and he ensured that he understood all of our expectations. During the project, Pat demonstrated top-notch construction skills and professionalism. He helped us make material choices that would allow us to stay on our budget while not taking away from our visual or functional goals. He subcontracts some work to other local specialists. We also found that they exceeded our expectations. It's challenging to find a good contractor, and Pat is highly skilled, not only in the trade of construction, but in communication, budgeting, and project management.
